General Hospital Spoilers UPDATE Monday, September 4: Interrogations, Plans Questioned, Lawyering Up
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that while Monday, September 4’s episode will be a rerun, Tuesday, September 5 brings all the new action.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) faces maternal interrogations, Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) plans are questioned, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is lawyering up!
General Hospital Spoilers: Interrogations
Following the raid at the docks and Sonny’s arrest at the Metro Court in front of Michael and other family members, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) interrogates her son.
Carly had gotten a tip from a customer at Kelly’s who works at the docks and tried to warn Sonny but he wouldn’t answer his phone.
She did reach Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) who barely escaped being arrested, but it seems two raids went down at the same time.
Carly buttonholes Michael, who had intended to set up a takedown of Sonny by the Feds for the better part of two years. She tells him he needs to tell her the truth, right now!
GH Spoilers: Plans Questioned
At Austin Gatlin-Holt’s (Roger Howarth) cabin in Pautauk, he asks Nikolas “when it is, what are you going to do?”
It sounds like Austin knows about a cryptic plan that Nikolas has, waiting for the right time and no one would be surprised if he’s hiding out again. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) may be exactly right about his father’s running away, but what’s he waiting for-or does Nikolas also have memory loss?
That would be the only thing that makes sense for Austin to be protecting him and for Nikolas not returning to Port Charles to his sons.
General Hospital Spoilers: Dex Heller Interrogates Josslyn Jacks
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) got so mad that Dex stood her up for a concert to work for Sonny that she stayed out all night drinking somewhere.
So is it any wonder that when she finally gets home, Dex, Carly and Michael are there with lots of questions?
Carly knows she stomped that flash drive to it’s death, Michael didn’t have a spare one and neither did Dex to incriminate Sonny to the Feds with.
Yet Joss knew about the job and where Dex would be, although her knowing where Sonny was at the time is questionable.
Dex tells a shocked but likely secretly happy Joss someone turned Sonny in.
GH Spoilers: Dante Falconeri’s Bad News
Of course Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will know about the bust at the docks and the arrest of his father.
If by no other means, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) would tell him since she protested the arrest.
Dante and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are working on other things as well, but he sadly tells her the bad news.
It sounds like he’s saying he fears this arrest will be the end of Sonny, who the Feds had their eyes on for years.
General Hospital Spoilers: Prison Protections Pre-empted
Meanwhile, at Pentonville, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) toys with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) who’s in the shower, as he tells him he’s no longer under his protection.
Cyrus is talking about Sonny, obviously being in the know about the raids by the Feds. Cyrus’ own protection he thought he had from Sonny is obviously pre-empted as well.
A prison shower isn’t exactly the place to tell someone with only a towel on that he’s no longer under protection. Perhaps Cyrus thinks he’s going to protect Drew?
GH Spoilers: Lawyering Up
Meanwhile, Sonny’s lawyering up as he tells his interrogators he’s not going to say nothing unless his attorney’s present. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will be called to action in this episode so it’s a good bet Carly sent her.
Diane will have her caseload full trying to defend Sonny and get Drew a new hearing! But it’s not Sonny’s first rodeo where being arrested is concerned-but who could have known about the shipment at the docks and that he was having dinner at the Metro Court?
The arrest and the raid seemed to happen concurrently!
