General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, July 5 tease arguing friends, supportive friends, and are they even friends? Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) argue, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) are supportive, but are Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and someone even friends?
General Hospital Spoilers: Surprise, Surprise
Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) surprised when she sees Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) back at work, and asks her if it’s true? Sasha will confirm she’s ready to take on her job as “The Face of Deception” full time and no longer needs an extended leave of absence. Sasha feels her trial by fire at Heart and Home was enough to prove she can do her job and with excellence, since her introduction of “The Deceptor” was a hit.
But little does she know her doctor, Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) and her mother in law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) are setting her up for failure-and addiction! But for now, Sasha’s happily back at work and thinks she’s getting her financial life back too.
GH Spoilers: Arguing Friends
Elsewhere, Cody and Dante are in an argument over Cody’s arrangement with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) which Cody won’t divulge the details of and neither will Scott. Cody does feel a little guilty over signing an affidavit that Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) was his birth father, since he knows it’s Mac Scorpio (John J. York)-and so does Dante! The two get into a rather heated argument, as Dante is obviously trying to convince Cody to get himself out of whatever he’s set up with Scott. Cody yells at him, what if he doesn’t want to get out of it?
General Hospital Spoilers: Suspicions, Sneaks And Snakes
Elsewhere in the Deception offices, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) is suspicious of Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) as she raises an eyebrow and says there’s a snake in their midst! Lucy will soon realize it’s ridiculous to think Maxie’s the snake, since she already has the confidential file copied and downloaded on her computer. The file in question contains confidential trade secrets on “The Deceptor” and the real snake overhears, Brook Lynn soon confessing.
Brook Lynn admits she downloaded and copied the file, but lies that she did so to learn more about the product in order to do her job better. What she really did is give a flash drive to her blackmailing grandmother, Tracy!
GH Spoilers: Supportive Friends
At Carly’s house, she and Sam are still talking about some of the fallout from Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) charges and Carly’s five million dollars of fines! Carly has thought about trying to get a job, but it would take a long time to replace all her savings. She cannot take a gift and especially not from Drew, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) because of the stipulations. It sounds like she’s considering selling her house, since Sam asks her if she’s really ready to just let it go.
General Hospital Spoilers: Pleasant Surprises
At Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) room in the ICU of GH, she’s asked Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to visit her there. That is a pleasant surprise for Nina, who will hear the good news that Willow’s bone marrow transplant is working and she can go home. It will be even more of a pleasant surprise when Willow tells her she wants her to come for a visit at home, once she’s released.
She and Carly will have to play nice and get along, and Carly will probably be told as well. It may not be free and easy access to see her daughter anytime she wants, but it’s certainly a good start.
GH Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Isn’t Too Surprised
Nina goes from there to Sonny’s penthouse where she tells him about Willow’s invitation and the good news about her transplant working. Sonny smiles, but doesn’t seem real surprised as he says “never say never”. This likely is a trial run and Nina understands that, and also understands Willow isn’t free and clear with her immune system so it’s just a small bubble of visitors. Sonny may get his own invitation as well, since he and Nina share the grandchildren.
General Hospital Spoilers: Are They Even Friends?
Tracy appears to be meeting someone for drinks as she has a drink in her hand, and asks the person are they in, or are they out? She sends Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) a summons, and she’s probably just allowed herself to be summoned to find out what Tracy wants. Whatever it is, Tracy won’t want to take no for an answer but Diane won’t want to say yes to the woman who put one of her best friends in jail.
Tracy was the one who framed Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) for drunken driving and put her in Spring Ridge. What makes Tracy think Diane will go in with her on anything, are they even friends?
