General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, July 5 tease stubborn struggles, sneaky snakes and dirty deals; Tuesday, July 4 is an encore episode of the tribute to the late Sonya Eddy. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) struggles stubbornly, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) found a sneaky snake, and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) might be dirty dealing.

General Hospital Spoilers: Truth Questioned

At the offices of Deception Cosmetics, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) smiles as she excitedly asks Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) if it’s true. Sasha feels completely ready to come back to work and throw herself back into her life and working on getting out of her guardianship. Unfortunately, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) have sent her down a path of destruction and possibly re-addiction.

There’s no way Gladys is letting Sasha out of that guardianship as long as she has access to her finances. And eventually, a combination of sedatives and antidepressants will re-addict Sasha-in other words, uppers and downers.

GH Spoilers: Stubborn Struggles

Elsewhere, Cody stubbornly struggles with his conscience, as Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is asking too many questions about what he and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) are working on. Cody signed an affidavit which Scott went to file, that Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia) was Cody’s birth father, and Cody apparently already had a fake birth certificate showing it. That way Cody can inherit any proceeds gained from suing the WSB for destroying the Ice Princess necklace with a drone strike, to be split with Serena Baldwin (Carly Schroeder). Dante knows that Cody lied about the paternity test with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and trying to change his mind-Cody yells, what if he doesn’t want out of it?

General Hospital Spoilers: Sneaky Snakes

Meanwhile, back at Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) office, Lucy is suspicious as she thinks she’s found a sneaky snake. She tells Maxie they have a snake in their midst, after discovering a confidential computer file on “The Deceptor” was copies and downloaded. At first she suspects Maxie until she realizes Maxie already has the file, so copying a file she already has doesn’t make sense.

Soon Brook Lynn will hear the discussion and she’ll confess, but she’ll also play dumb. She’ll confess she copied the file to learn more about the product, but didn’t realize the file was confidential.

GH Spoilers: Sam McCall And Carly Spencer Brainstorm

Meanwhile, back at Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, she and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) brainstorm about how to get that five million dollar SEC fine paid. Carly’s agreement plainly stipulates the money cannot be gifted to her and especially not by anyone connected to Aurora Media, or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).  Even if she gets a job, it’s going to take a long time to pay off that much money and the SEC apparently wants it all at once. Carly sounds like she’s considering selling her house as Sam reasons emotionally, is she sure she’s really ready to just let it go?

General Hospital Spoilers: Happy Day

At GH, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has invited Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to her hospital room, now that she’s able to go home with some restrictions to keep her safe. She can have immediate family and a small bubble of friends visit her and decided Nina should be one of them. Nina can scarcely believe her ears when Willow tells her she’d like her to come for a visit.

There are some caveats, however-it is just one visit to start with and she has to promise to get along with Carly. Carly no doubt is also told she’ll have to get along with Nina.

GH Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Is Happy

Later, Nina is at Sonny’s penthouse and smiling as she tells Sonny that Willow reached out with an olive branch and asked her to come visit. Sonny is obviously happy and says, “never say never” and it sounds like he’s surprised too. Nina will visit Willow at home, possibly Sonny coming with her and she’ll get to see her grandkids too more than likely. Nina just needs to be patient and let Willow call the shots and not try to make things happen too quickly.

General Hospital Spoilers: Dirty Deals?

Tracy summons Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) to a meeting at the Metro Court and says she’s got a deal for her – is she in, or is she out? Diane may not want anything to do with anything she offers, although she’s checking it out. She remembers all too well the dirty deal Tracy pulled that got her best friend and former law partner Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) in jail for drunk driving.

Diane will probably tell Tracy she’s out, and it will be a hard pass. Tracy won’t take no for an answer, but Diane will make it crystal!
