Thank goodness she has this all behind her now. General Hospital star Nancy Lee Grahn is back on Twitter after she was hacked during the early hours of Tuesday morning. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital News: Nancy Lee Grahn Clarifies What Happened On Twitter
Early on Tuesday, the soap opera world couldn’t understand what was going on with Nancy’s Twitter account as everything that was being tweeted was certainly out of character for the actress. At one point, her account tweeted out: “no longer a part of @GeneralHospital. i’m sorry to all the fans this may upset, but i feel like it’s time to move onto bigger and better things – nancy.”
What’s more, the person who hacked her account also changed her profile photo to one of Donald Trump and his ‘Make America Great Again’ slogan. Clearly, that was not Nancy at all!
After Nancy managed to regain access of her Twitter account, she wrote to her fans, “Hi friends, regrettably & quite obviously my account was recently hacked & I sincerely apologize for any harmful rhetoric that was shared without my consent.”

Many of her fans replied with, “I’m so glad you are back and ok! Excuse me for being a worry wart – I even sent a Tweet to @valentinifrank and @kate_grahn. The best part? We all knew that is was a hack. So while the aggravation sucks, I think that’s a pretty big positive!” along with, “Welcome back! That was really scary. I had temporarily blocked your account b/c I was afraid of being DM’d by that hacker, and I already have very high anxiety. But now that means you don’t follow me anymore. It’s ok, will still tune in to your page, as I have since 2010!”
When one person wrote, “I thought you were leaving GH and I was very upset,” Nancy said, “I would never do that to you… or me.”
Here’s hoping this never happens to Nancy again, right? This was more dramatic than some of the storylines we’ve seen on General Hospital!
