General Hospital spoilers leak Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) always collects on a debt, and no one could have been more indebted to her than her granddaughter, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), who desperately wanted to see Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) back in action as a boy in blue. Tracy made it happen, and at the time, Brook Lynn didn’t care what it was going to cost her as long as Chase was back in the saddle at the PCPD. But now Tracy wants Brook Lynn to pay up by engaging in Espionage. It’s anyone’s guess what interest Tracy has in Deception — a beauty and cosmetics company — but that’s for her to know and Brook Lynn to find out, just like Chase will.

Brook Lynn knew better than to make any kind of deal with Tracy. Her father would have expressly warned against it, in fact. The whole family knows Tracy never does anything for free, and now Brook Lynn may have to risk prison time, losing Chase again, as well as losing her gal pals — Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson), and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) — all to get what she wanted for Chase.
Will he see it through her eyes, that she risked everything for him? Or is this just more of the same from Brook Lynn — her not knowing how to respect boundaries, and not trusting that he could get his job back on his own?

Chase is already starting to grow suspicious of what Brook Lynn is up to. As passionate as she is about her career in the music industry and the clients she was planning on lining up, it makes no sense to Chase that just days after leaving the company, she decided to go back to work at Deception. Why? She’s got a laundry list of excuses to explain that away, but he won’t really buy any of them. That’s going to lead him to go on a discovery mission of his own.

Sadly, Chase continues to be blinded by his affection for Brook Lynn. He just doesn’t want to admit to himself that they don’t operate by the same moral code. Brook Lynn can’t seem to stop herself from indulging in whatever she wants, whenever she wants it, by whatever means necessary to get it. That often lands her in trouble and she can’t manage to learn her lesson the hard way the first dozen times. The last thing Chase is expecting to discover when he digs for the truth is that Brook Lynn is breaking the law and the trust of everyone who loves her.
