The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has been thrown in a loop after finding out that his father Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has proposed to Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Kyle Thinks Jack and Diane’s Engagement Is Happening Too Fast
According to the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest, while you would think that Kyle should be happy that his mom and dad are getting back together again, he of course has a lot of reservations over this. Speaking to the publication in a new interview, actor Michael Mealor, who plays Kyle on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way, “So, Kyle has no idea that Jack proposed and Diane said, ‘Yes.’ In the meantime, Kyle finds out that Phyllis sent Jeremy on this wild goose chase to Europe, so Kyle calls his dad and tells him the coast is clear. That’s when they decide to come home.”
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that when Jack announces that he and Diane are engaged to get married, Kyle is not happy at all. The actor says, “It’s his biggest fear that his parents will hurt each other and he loses his mother again. They only recently told Kyle that they are in a relationship. He didn’t have to agree with it, but he accepted it because he loves both of his parents. Right after that, his mom moved into his dad’s house, and now comes this news of them getting engaged. Kyle believes this is all happening too fast and that they need to pump the breaks.”

Jack then says that nothing will interfere this time between him and Diane, but Kyle doesn’t seem to think so. He thinks that there still is a lot that can go wrong. Michael adds, “You can have the best intentions and strive for not letting anything get in your way, but certain things are just out of your control – and one of them is Jeremy Stark.”
