The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) have been getting along well. Their father has also been generally agreeable with the siblings believing this is true because Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is not working at the family business.

But Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants his youngest son back into the fray. Adam is okay with that if he can return on his stated ridiculous terms.

Victor always stays on top of his children when they work under his corporate roof. He expects total dedication and provides them with opportunities and access to wealth they would likely never see anywhere else in the soapy world.

While Forrester Creations might be an eventual crossover destination for Victoria, based on her artistic background, she is happy being the Chief Executive Officer. That happened because she offered an ultimatum to her father. Victor cited the same word, ultimatum, when Adam said he wanted Victoria’s job as a condition of returning to the company.

Victoria is leery of Victor trying to coerce Adam back to work. Like his sister, Nick does not want Adam stirring the pot or further complicating Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) pregnancy. Morrow’s character supports his sister, while also trying to stay out of backhanded maneuvers.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor Is The Wisest Of All

Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is arguably the wisest of all the Newman children. She has remained in her father’s good graces for an extended period, arguably because of having left Newman Enterprises in the past.

Society and her past interest in the Grand Phoenix hotel represent Abby’s ventures in the business world. Victor opposed Nick’s efforts with The Underground and, to a lesser extent, New Hope, which was a non-profit endeavor. In contrast, Abby has her father’s favor.

Victor arguably believes Abby lacks the killer instinct needed to operate in the C-suite level. That appears true without undercutting what Abby has accomplished through her very popular restaurant, and by maintaining positive paternal relations.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nate Hastings Trusted His Gut

Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) vouched for Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), even though they recently met. He sensed a similar go-getter personality type and suggested Victoria approve the hire, and she did.

Victoria did not like learning that Audra leaked Newman Enterprises’ plan to purchase McCall Unlimited’s debt to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). But Victoria also told Nick that Victor believed, as Audra did, that providing Tucker with that tip would force him to react, and he did.

Nate likely made the right move for his career when accepting Victoria’s offer to head Newman Media. His cut instinct aligns him with people who like the corporate game on Y&R.
