British Royal News: The New York Times Says That Prince Harry Has No Choice But To Spill All The Royal Tea

British Royal News says that Prince Harry has no choice but to spill all the dirty details of what went down behind closed doors at Buckingham Palace if he wants to sell copies of his upcoming memoir, Spare. Apparently, that’s what one huge media outlet believes. Here’s what you need to know.

British Royal News: The New York Times Says That Prince Harry Has No Choice But To Spill All The Royal Tea

It has been reported that Prince Harry’s book, Spare, will come out on January 10th. Penguin Random House released a statement on Thursday that said, “SPARE, the highly anticipated #PrinceHarryMemoir, will be published globally on January 10, 2023.”

Soon after the announcement was made, the New York Times was quick to point out that the only way anyone will pick up this book is if it has plenty of dirty royal laundry in it. The NYT puts it this way, “The memoir will be published at a delicate moment for the British monarchy and public, which is still adjusting to King Charles III and reeling from economic and political instability. Its release also thrusts Prince Harry into an impossible situation. Damaging revelations could hurt the monarchy and his relationship with his family. But holding back could dampen sales, making it more difficult for his publisher to recoup its considerable costs — and could erode Harry’s self-made image as the rebellious, truth-telling prince.”

British Royal News: What’s Next For Prince Harry?

Of course, many royal fans and critics alike couldn’t help but weigh in on the matter, especially when it came to the New York Times’ reporting. Some of them took to social media to write comments such as, “I used to think it was a progressive newspaper and even picked up a copy now and then from bookstores where they sold international newspapers just to support,” along with, “It is progressive, or fancies itself that way. But it’s also become a really bad newspaper – poorly written, poor research, slapdash reporting, more interested in opinion and agenda than fact. This particular piece on Harry’s book is total tabloid language.”

So far Prince Harry himself has not made any comments about his upcoming memoir, but there’s a very good chance that he will do a lot of promotional tours right before the book is expected to hit bookshelves. Regardless of whether or not he does spill the royal tear, there’s no doubt that Spare is going to be a bestseller and that many royal fans on both sides of the pond are going to get their hands on it.
