The Young and the Restless spoilers say that if there’s anything that we’ve learned about life in Genoa City, it’s that what goes around, ultimately comes around, and the said can be said about the Newman family and their very complicated love lives. Now that Rey Rosales is dead, a lot of people can’t help but wonder if Sharon Newman will find comfort in the arms of her ex, Nick Newman. It’s not like this hasn’t happened before, right? It was Nick Newman who was the bearer of bad news when he attempted to tell Sharon that Rey was dead. As many fans know by now, Rey had died in a car crash after his car swerved to a ditch in an effort to try and avoid Victoria Newman’s oncoming vehicle (or at least that’s what it looked like to many people). Before the words could even come out of Nick’s mouth, Sharon knew what the news was.
The scene between Nick and Sharon is so good that a lot of fans couldn’t help but comment about it on Twitter. Some viewers said, “This is so sad the writers does not have anything better to do than take the good people off a soap after Rey has stuck by Sharon doing her breast cancer and loved her then they want to take him off the show this way now her heart is breaking,” along with, “Amazing scene, she sensed something bad. Gotta feel bad for her, they were happy. But I am glad Chelsea didn’t get away with him. Great crying by Sharon.”

And while Sharon is certainly going to miss Rey, it seems like Nick is already there to give her all of the love, support and strength that she needs. This has prompted a lot of fans to wonder: should they get back together?

I’m very unhappy JORDI is write out. It was up to writers to honor his 3yrs contact and give him better storyline. There was so much to expand Sharon & Rey rather than get boring . Also the whole Rosales family was fun & refreshing to watch . His sister as beautiful & fun & smart . Mother lovely experienced actress was interesting , his brother written out. I mean what’s going on?? One great side story and now they’re all gone?? Now boring.
If writers are more imaginative then have Nicholas back with Sharon, I’m done with this soap again!!!! BORING!!
