The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Lily’s Alliance With Victor Leads To Cane’s Family Reunion?
The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) had had enough of her two-time ex-husband.
So, she allied with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), which might result in what Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) was hoping for all along.
Lily doesn’t have the latest intel about Cane’s backroom maneuvers with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Her Genoa City, Wisconsin, conduit has apparently been the Moustache during the period in which Cane was led to believe that Victor was holding her and the twins hostage.
But buzz about a climax indicates that this part of this circuitous storyline, which has been playing since last summer, is about to hit. That and social media posts about Shemar Moore (Malcolm Winters) returning to GC means that a different level of drama is ahead.
Taking The Fans On A Very Long Ride From Southern France
Devoted viewers know that murmurs about Aristotle Dumas began last year when Victor first spoke of him. He mentioned the then-unseen tycoon as being a worthy adversary.
Little did the head of Newman Enterprises know that Aristotle was actually Cane, who was living on a train parked at a chateau in Europe.
He also didn’t realize that the company he headed, Arabesque, was built on ill-gotten gains that Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) received from an older lady he romanced in the south of France.
Cane’s corporation was also assembled with a lofty goal. Colin encouraged Cane to take control of the legacy companies in GC, which they saw as a way of impressing Lily. That failed horribly and led to her current ruse with Victor.
Victor Newman Plays Hardball In The Winter
Victor lost control of Newman Enterprises through an unforced error. He didn’t have to take the artificial intelligence program that Phyllis hacked from Arabesque. But Braeden’s character is greedy and did exactly that.
The computer program had a poisoned brain that Cane activated, which led to the appearance of Victor selling off his business.
Cane had it momentarily but was made to believe that Lily and the twins were kidnapped by Victor and would never be seen again unless he signed control of Newman Enterprises back.
Phyllis swooped in and chloroformed Cane to prevent him from giving up the goat. She now sits in Victor’s chair in one of the more remarkable events in recent Y&R history. Some could argue that’s too hard to believe.
Lily Winters Still Loves Cane Ashby?
This section header is the real question.
If Lily does love Cane, she will be touched by the lengths he went to. His only thought was securing her and the twins’ freedom, which she will understand.
An anticipated wrinkle involves Malcolm’s return to GC. Moore was last on the show during its fiftieth anniversary season in 2023.
Lily’s biological father retains an important place in his daughter’s life, especially because his brother, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), is in heaven.
So, the timing of Malcolm’s comeback and Lily’s release from a supposed kidnapping should provide an opportunity for him to weigh in on whether a reconciliation with Cane is warranted.
