The Young and the Restless Alum Justin Hartley Opens Up About His Biggest Issue Right Now
The Young and the Restless alum Justin Hartley might be one of the biggest (and if not also most handsome) actors on television right now, but it looks like he’s got the same kind of worries and issues that so many of us deal with on a daily basis, too. The actor, who was once best known for his role as Adam Newman on the hit CBS soap, says that it’s absolutely killing him inside each and every day knowing that his daughter Isabella is away in college. Ha! That’s a feeling that a lot of fans can relate to, right? Here’s what you need to know.
The Young and the Restless Alum Justin Hartley Opens Up About His Biggest Issue Right Now
While on The Jennifer Hudson Show, Justin admitted that he is having a “tough” time with his daughter Isabella in college. He said, “It’s tough when they leave. You think you’re ready for it because as they get older they gain independence and they’re gone a lot anyway. They have their own friends and their own interests and you can go see them.”
Justin also said that he’s having a hard time with the fact that the only communication that he’s getting from his daughter is the occasional text from time to time. Again, this is something that a lot of his fans who are parents can also relate to! H
“When they’re actually gone, it really is a text or a phone call. And you know, she’s 18, so let’s be honest, it’s a text. I’m not getting phone calls, which is normal, but I hate it,” he said.

As many of Justin’s fans probably already know, he shares his daughter Isabella with his ex, Passions alum Lindsay Hartley. The two met and fell in love on the soap. He was also married to Days of Our Lives alum Chrishell Stause and is now married to The Young and the Restless alum and his former co-star, Sofia Pernas.
Now, whether or not Isabella is going to follow in the footsteps of her famous parents and become a soap star too, remains to be seen. Watch this space.
