After sleeping with a woman that looks like Sheila, although he didn’t realize that it was Sheila, Deacon realized that he had a very important decision to make and a fast one, especially after a parole office knocked at his door. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Sean Kanan, who plays Deacon on the hit show, says that his character managed to get himself out of trouble with some fast thinking.

“When the parole officer shows up, Sheila is hiding in the bathroom and makes a noise, so Deacon says it’s his girlfriend. He says, ‘You’ve got a girlfriend? I need to know how you are associating with.” Deacon then replies with, “‘No, she just spent the night. You know how it is.’”

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that Sheila prepares a romantic bath for Deacon and instead of using his better judgment, Deacon is transfixed. But that shouldn’t surprise anyone seeing how Sheila is such a beautiful woman, right?

Sean continues, “I think they definitely had a very strong and unexpected physical connection. There are definitely some feelings there but he is torn. He is risking his parole, but what I think he’s most worried about is that Sheila is still delusional in the fact that she thinks she can have some kind of relationship with Finn and Hayes, and he’s like, ‘You just don’t get it. You are pathological. This will never happen.”
