We are talking about General Hospital alum Hayley Erin, who will soon be playing a new character by the name of Claire. So far what we know is that Claire is someone who is going to shake things up at Newman Media. Does that mean she’s going to try and give Audra Charles a run for her money? Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

It goes without saying that many Y&R fans are super excited to see Hayley back on the canvas. After all, the last time she was on daytime television was back in 2019 when she played Kiki Jerome on General Hospital. She then left her soap opera roots behind to try her hand at primetime television. But now that she’s back, it’s without a doubt that her fans are going to tune in to see what she has to offer for the good folks in Genoa City.

That said, if there’s one thing that fans don’t want to see, it’s Claire hooking up with a man that is much older than she is. Some have even taken to Twitter to comment on the matter with, “I hope whoever they put Hayley Erin’s Claire with is at least somewhat age appropriate and we aren’t getting Hop on Pop. #YR is the soap that will hire someone young and put them with a man old enough to be that woman’s father or grandfather.”

Another critic said, “If Theo was there or returned, then I can definitely see him. Even tho I’m tired of these love triangles, Noah would’ve be great too. She needs to be with somebody in the age group. Or better yet, cast a new character.”
