The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Nick Targets His Drug Dealer, Dangerous Revenge Mission Could Destroy Him

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Nick Targets His Drug Dealer, Dangerous Revenge Mission Could Destroy HimThe Young and the Restless spoilers document that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is out of rehabilitation. He wants his loved ones to believe that he is doing well, but actions don’t match his words.

Going after his drug dealer is an impulsive and highly dangerous decision. Someone in that amoral field of work doesn’t behave or react normally because abnormal codes of conduct are in place.

The leading factor in this storyline is an enraged Nick unable to punish the man he holds responsible for getting him addicted, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).

Ironically, Matt took full blame for pushing an addictive substance into Nick’s life.

Matt Clark Says Goodbye And Leaves The City?

Matt originally sought out the Newman family. He lured Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) to Los Angeles, California, under pretenses. The goal was to draw out Nick and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), which happened.

Digitally skipping ahead, Noah and Matt’s ex-wife, Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), are a couple, and Howarth’s character hasn’t been able to achieve the eventual redemption he sought in Genoa City, Wisconsin. That transformation happened after Sienna knocked him unconscious in the Nevada desert.

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), who came to care for Matt, made a plea for him not to give up on his redemption goal. He countered by asking her to leave with him, which she rejected.

So, Matt has apparently taken off with Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk). That’s part of his adapted plan to make good by removing a villain who’s tormented GC for decades, none of which has settled Nick’s mind.

Sharon Newman Plays Important Role

Sharon and Nick aren’t together, and they may never reconcile, despite the hopes of many fans who adored their one-time couple. However, Nick has continued to rely on Sharon for advice and support through the daytime years.

She, as much as his parents or siblings, has great insight into Nick’s mind and heart. So, that factor should play into the developing drama.

Nick will put his life at risk by attempting to bring justice to the man who sold him drugs. That effort could easily backfire and lead to Nick being badly hurt or having his family targeted.

Nick Newman Still Isn’t Dealing Straight

Dealing with life is something that drug users need help in doing. That’s why Nick’s rehabilitation stint proved to be uneven.

Rather than focus on his health and recovery, Nick was more concerned about Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow). Viewers know that she was a poor soul but also someone who proved to be an enabler.

Having Marie’s rehab stint at the same location where Nick was trying to get better proved disastrous when her husband appeared, and she accidentally killed him. That led to Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc) thankfully getting her and Nick out of hot, soapy water.

Nick hasn’t been able to make peace with himself, even though Marie left GC, apparently stabilized, and there were no new issues with Matt.

So, the conflict that Nick seeks with the man who sold him drugs will put him on a path that should not have been explored. Morrow’s character will need his family, which includes Sharon, to once again pull him back from the brink.
