Young And The Restless Spoilers Friday, September 11: Victor Declares War, Matt Terrifies Phyllis & Jack’s Medical Crisis Explodes
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 11 reveal that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has a trap for Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) and Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) spooks Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Let’s start with Phyllis who has conjured up a knucklehead plot to get all of GC loving convict Matt. What could go wrong?
Phyllis and Matt Scheme
These two want redemption and have hatched a plot to achieve that. It will likely fail and it is abysmal but this is the level of thinking you get when two social pariahs have an idea. They are ostracized for a reason, right?
The brill scheme involves Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) thinking Phyllis’ life is in danger and Matt swooping in to be the hero.
Sharon is Set Up
When things don’t go as planned, Phyllis could go to the Riverbank Motel after lunch with Sharon and wonder why when
Matt didn’t show up.
Matt was too busy with escaped Catty Patty who tried to sway him to her side and against Phyllis.
Alas, Patty thinks Matt should trust her over Phyllis and join forces with her instead.
Patty’s scheme is tempting and simple Matt doesn’t know what to do or if redemption is possible for him.
Can Matt be Redeemed?
Undecided Matt has to pick a lane and he could decide that turning Patty in would be a good path to redemption.
But as he vacillates, Phyllis wonders what is going on and if she can trust him.

Meanwhile, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is all systems go to take down those icky Abbotts. Is Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) right about Victor using Vibrante to strike Jabot?
Elsewhere, Jack and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) stages a distraction to lure Patty.
Jack’s Distraction
We predict that Jack and Diane go to Society where a staged fight with Billy provokes Jack into a major heart attack or other medical crisis.
The idea would be to get Patty to the hospital to check on Jack. This idea sounds all kinds of risky though, and red hot the Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Jack may regret the deception if Patty finds out she’s being played!
