The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) sees both sides. He is devoted to his wife but also told his birth mother that he has love in his heart for her as well.
Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) recognizes the position her adopted son is in. He can’t go against Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wishes but believes that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) has earned a measured chance at redemption.
Steffy’s counterpoint seems strong. But it projects a future that is only based on the past. She doesn’t believe that Sheila is capable of being anything other than a villain.
Getting Shot Left A Scar In Los Angeles
Devoted viewers haven’t forgotten that Sheila has been exactly who Steffy says she’s been. But fans also recognize what Finn and Li see. Sheila has made progress.
Finn was shot by Sheila in the alley behind Il Giardino minutes before Steffy was. Sheila intended to shoot Steffy dead, but Finn interceded and took the first bullet.
Sheila pumped a second round into Steffy after she attempted to call the paramedics. Both victims’ survival is what soaps are made of, as is Sheila’s attempt to gain Steffy’s acceptance these years later.
John Finn Finnegan Stunned By Kneeling Story
Steffy thought that Sheila bowing at her feet, to beg her mercy, wasn’t heartwarming. As is true of so many other attempts her mother-in-law has made, Steffy decided in the moment that the effort wasn’t genuine.
Finn simply sees Sheila in a different light. That’s intriguing and could lead to him and Steffy having more than conversations about his birth mother in the near future.
Seeking Li’s input was natural. She’s become a confidant for Sheila in the past year-plus, which also causes viewers to suspend disbelief because Jack Finnegan (Ted King) cheated on Li, which led to Finn’s birth.
It’s plausible to believe that Finn’s, Li’s, and possibly even Taylor Hayes’ (Rebecca Budig) shared outlook could work in Sheila’s favor long-term. Yet, at the moment, Steffy isn’t budging.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan Feels Completely Justified
Teased scenes in Morocco will have Steffy, Finn, and Sheila in the same location shoot setting. That will lead to an unexpected and unwanted encounter between Steffy and Sheila.
B&B’s summer fashion excursions have often led to dramatic moments. So, the setup is clear. Sheila will use the information about Finn’s vacation plans to follow him and his wife.
Continuing the same dynamic, where Steffy stymies Sheila, and she responds with an attack, wouldn’t move this long arc. So, here’s hoping that the writing staff uses the coming summer trip as more than a beautiful backdrop and instead allows Sheila to realize the goal she’s been aiming for because that would be good soap.
