The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 15 hint that Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) enjoy themselves at their New York hotel, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) shocks Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn), and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) takes a sneaky break.

Phyllis’ Bravado
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) thinks she has what it takes to best Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)– nasty Matt Clark (Roger Howarth).
She’s paying for the amnesiac’s GCAC suite and expects Victor to cancel the charges against her in exchange for the madman.
According to Phyllis, turning over Matt is enough for Victor to make his bogus corporate espionage charges against her disappear.
But Victor insists on her returning the Newman empire as well. If these two can’t come to an agreement, Victor could take his chances and use his personal security team to find Matt.
Does Matt Have Amnesia?
Phyllis envisioned her possession of Matt to be a silver bullet, but that’s not how it’s shaping up to be.
Besides, even if they reach an agreement, what’s to stop curious Matt from wandering off? He is intrigued by GC and wants to explore, something Phyllis warned him against.
Nick’s Addiction
Meanwhile, Nick looks for a drug dealer for a fentanyl fix. He is successful and clearly not able yet to kick his addiction.
Elsewhere, Holden and Claire are in New York and meet up with Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) to talk about Malcolm Winters’ (Shemar Moore) medical procedure.
Holden is hoping like mad that Malcolm makes it so they can get to know each other and make a meaningful connection.
Later, Claire and Holden have alone time in a hotel suite!
Back in Genoa City Lily takes Cane by surprise because he thought she’d be in New York for Malcom’s procedure.
Instead, she is ready to make sure his procedure goes smoothly and might even indicate she wants a good luck kiss before she jets off; won’t Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) be thrilled.
