The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, May 1: Victoria Plays Hardball, Nick’s Confession, Is Sienna Lying?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 1 reveal that someone has trouble believing Sienna Bacall’s (Tamara Braun) assertion that she killed Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) in Vegas.
Noah Newman (Lucas Adams), Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and Sienna are back in Genoa City on Friday’s episode and it’s Sharon who doubts Sienna.
Let’s break down all the action that goes down in GC on Thursday’s episode!
Back From Sin City
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are also back and inform Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about Nick’s drug problem.
Victor forces Nick to be honest about his addiction to pain killers. Nick is resistant and in denial but Victor is unrelenting in pushing his son to be honest with himself.
Later, when Victor wants to know everything about what happened in Vegas with Matt, he has a skeptical reaction as does Sharon who wonders if Sienna lied so Matt could get away.
Spoiler alert: Matt ain’t dead.
Yep, Matt is like the proverbial cat, although he’s lost several of his nine lives thus far.

Meanwhile, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is chomping at the bit to teach Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) a lesson.
Victoria is ready to go scorched earth in order to regain the Newman empire.
What Happens Next in GC?
However, Phyllis is willing to risk going to prison to hold on to her ill-gotten gains. Victor has manufactured evidence that makes her look guilty as sin for business crimes and he expects it to hold up in court.
That’s because he’s installed Christine Romalotti (Lauralee Bell) as his DA.
That doesn’t sit well with Red and we don’t blame her—Victor is always buying his way in the world!

Who is Right, Victor or Phyllis?
Both Victor and Phyllis have played dirty to get what they want. It could be argued that Phyllis acted maliciously first, and Victor is simply responding.
But, is he relying on Christine looking the other way and ruling in his favor if the case goes to court? Cricket hates Phyllis but we have a hard time believing she would swallow her morals just to nab Red—tell us what you think!
