Even though she’s gone, that doesn’t mean she’s forgotten. General Hospital spoilers say that we are clearly talking about Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) as a lot of fans can’t help but wonder if the character shouldn’t have died in the way that she did. Keep reading below!
Did Sam McCall Unnecessarily Die?
Did Sam McCall unnecessarily die on General Hospital? That’s what a lot of fans can’t help but wonder.
After all, Sam was someone who had children and a rich history with a lot of characters in this fictional town of Port Charles. Yet it seemed like Sam became somewhat of a shell of her former shelf.
However, it has been noted that her death did mark somewhat of an upswing on the show. Or at least, that’s what many viewers have noticed.
And while everyone knows that you are never really dead even if that last nail is hammered into your coffin, it doesn’t seem like there’s a chance that Sam will ever come back on the show.
Will Sam Really Dead?
Some even commented with, “I can understand that Sam argument, the kids and ties she had before her death. I do have ‘issues’ with a few of her ‘long after the fact family tie ins,’ but that’s not exactly my reasoning.”
“Frank gave her crappy storylines after Kelly said Billy Miller shouldn’t have been fired. Then he killed her off, because she asked for better dialogue.”
Another fan of the show wrote, “Sam had always been one of my favorite characters, but I wasn’t really watching the show when she died. I remember hearing about it and also being surprised that Jason was back but that they weren’t together.”
And then there was this comment as well: “There was literally NO REASON for it (other than financial) and the show has suffered from it since it happened not only storyline wise but many of her fans have just given up and stopped watching altogether.”
