General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) has been acting lately like he wants to be a recast of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton)! Danny has a lot of anger inside, and “Anger Boy Jr.” doesn’t really know what to do with it-but getting revenge on the WSB would be a good start, as far as he’s concerned!
Danny Is The New Jason In Port Charles?
In the episode aired on April 6, Danny approached Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), the revered godfather of Port Charles, and declared his desire to join the Mob.
It seems the teenager thought that with his connections, he could skip the online application process like every other aspiring hitman.
Naturally, Sonny recognized Danny’s motivation to seek vengeance for Jason’s unjust arrest by targeting the WSB.
However, the don reminded Danny that Jason operated more on a “Do as I say, not as I do” principle as a parent rather than a “Follow my lead” approach. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) must have been turning in her grave as her son danced with danger like this.
Sonny Turned Down Danny
Although Sonny rejected Danny’s request to be his junior hitman, the young man remains determined to seek revenge.
Now that he knows Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) was responsible for Jason’s arrest, this power player has become the new target of Danny’s fury. Will he act rashly and do something he’ll regret-almost definitely; he’s got a very short fuse on a very long stick of dynamite! Wouldn’t Jason have reacted similarly in his position, especially during the early days of his career as a cold-blooded mafioso? Let’s hope that the “new Jason” gets shot less frequently than the previous one!
Asher Antonyzn Thought It Would Be Really Cool For Danny To Be Just Like His Dad
“I personally find it quite fascinating that Danny aspires to emulate his father,” says Antonyzyn in an interview with Soap Opera Digest.
“Although it may not be the safest route for him, it certainly promises to be an enjoyable experience to perform! It might not be the most beneficial choice for those around him, but I genuinely believe that the outcomes could be quite entertaining.”
Regarding what Danny might have pursued if Sonny had agreed, the actor reflects, “I doubt he fully understands what that situation would involve; he lacks a concrete plan.
He simply wants to take action-at this moment, he’s filled with anger and believes this is the best course of action for him, as it’s the only avenue available to him.”
