The Young And The Restless Eric Braeden Reveals Health Issue – Victor Newman Exit Looming
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint Victor Newman will be heading off canvas very soon, due to a health issue his portrayer, Eric Braeden, is suffering from. More details on this story are below.
Eric Braeden Explains On Facebook
Braeden posted a video on Facebook this past Monday, March 23. He hadn’t spoken to fans like this in a while, and the actor explained it was because he had pneumonia for two weeks. With that said, the silver lining in it all was that he’s better now.
Braeden also noted that other members of his family had dealt with the illness, but he stated his recovery took a bit longer because of his age. Still, he is back on track, which is all thanks to ‘modern medicine’ and antibiotics!
Did This Affect Eric Braeden’s Filming?
It’s important to note that Braeden’s pneumonia kept him away from work for a couple of weeks; however, this may not have overly affected Victor’s storyline too much.
Braeden noted in the video he’d be pulling double duty over the next two to three weeks to catch up on filming. Braeden states, “…I love being back to work. Love being back with my colleagues.”
In the Facebook post, Braeden listed off colleagues he was happy to see again, which included his Newman family – Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman), Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman), and Mark Grossman (Adam Newman) – as well as Victor’s current onscreen rival, Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers).
It’s nice to know that Victor won’t skip a beat in the land of Genoa City. Right now, he’s not only got getting Newman Enterprises back from Phyllis on his plate, but he’s also having marital issues with Nikki, as he kidnapped one of her closest friends, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), in an effort to get Chancellor Industries back! Right now, Nikki has moved to the GCAC, so will this separation last long?
