Meghan Markle Concerned Prince Harry’s Ties to Prince Andrew Could Hurt Her Brand
Meghan Markle is said to be living in constant anxiety over Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s deteriorating public image. Her anxiety reportedly stems from the fear Andrew’s poor image could tarnish her brand’s reputation – you know, guilty by association and stuff.
Meghan is known to enjoy a close relationship with Andrew’s daughters, especially Princess Eugenie, who remains the only known royal to have visited Harry and Meghan’s Montecito home.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Feeling Closer To Prince Harry Following Royal Family Exile
Andrew is reportedly feeling lonely these days. He’s been left out in the cold following the numerous controversies tying him to one famous pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.
“Andrew is feeling a lot of kinship towards Harry. In his view, they are both ‘spares’ that have been terribly mistreated,” a source told News International. “Andrew still can’t believe his own brother [King Charles III] and family have turned on him this way and now he sees they’ve done it to Harry, too. In his view, that ought to bond them — even though they’ve never been close in the past.”
Awww… Sounds like the start of something new, right? Well, not exactly, because Meghan is not permitting the forming of any kind of bond that could ultimately serve to drive her reputation further into the ground.
“The issue that he’s going to face is that Meghan is disgusted by him,” the source said. “She thinks he’ll tarnish her brand and will want nothing to do with him — and what she says goes when it comes to Harry.”
Meghan Markle Warned Prince Harry Off Getting Involved With the Andrew Drama
In addition to warning Harry off forming any kind of bond with his godfather Andrew, royal expert Duncan Larcombe believes she’s also instructing him to play no part in the Royal Family’s ongoing crisis.
“She’ll probably be pleased that Harry has stayed out of it — she’ll be wary of guilt by association,” Larcombe told The Mirror. “I’m sure she’s telling him, ‘Keep your head down, don’t get involved, the royal family is in a crisis, don’t drag us into this.'”
Even though Harry has so far kept his person far away from the Andrew scandal, it’d be hard if he wasn’t feeling some sympathy for Andrew’s daughters.
“He’ll be gutted for his cousins, there’s no doubt about it,” Larcombe added.
