General Hospital Spoilers: Stella’s Cold Treatment Of Isaiah May Signal An End To Portia’s Paternity Fears
General Hospital spoilers tease Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) wasn’t mincing words when she told Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) to stay out of her family’s business.
Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) “Auntie” is clearly hurting from the betrayal she believes Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) committed by keeping secrets, jumping into bed with Isaiah right away, and letting Curtis get emotionally invested in her pregnancy while knowing the baby may not be his.
That’s a lot to forgive, and it looks like she’ll be capable of it, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to be one big happy family no matter how this paternity test pans out.
It’s All Over If Isaiah is the Father
If it turns out that Isaiah is the father of the baby Portia is carrying, all bets are off. Curtis is already moving on with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), but it would be a whole lot easier for him to find his way back to Portia if there were a baby tethering them together instead of pushing them apart.
If the baby isn’t Curtis, that’s going to be his green light to really cut ties with his wife and go back to his ex.
GH Spoilers Spill Curtis May Be Heartbroken
It’s clear that Stella is very much invested in her family. She doesn’t want to see Curtis and Portia torn apart any more than she once wanted to see him leave Jordan.
She doesn’t want Trina’s heart broken in the mix either, and she knows Portia raising a baby with another man is going to be more likely to delay any kind of thaw between this mother and daughter.
Once upon a time, we saw Stella take matters into her own hands by thwarting a divorce between Curtis and Jordan. Might she play the same kind of matchmaker now, or has she learned her lesson?

Stella may not have any control over whether or not Curtis and Portia proceed with their divorce, but she could pull some strings to make it less likely that they end up wanting it.
While Portia was misleading about her pregnancy with Trina and kept Curtis in the dark her entire life about the reality that he could have been her father, finding out he was Trina’s dad changed everything — and it ended up making Curtis want to forgive her for lying and give their marriage another shot.
