The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Billy Works Victoria As A High-Stakes Chancellor Gamble Looms
The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) knows Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) better than anyone except her family.
She knows his poker face and saw through Billy’s attempt to extract information from her about Newman Enterprises’ current major dilemma.
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) is back at it. Provoked and enabled by Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), he has put the Aristotle Dumas mask back on without officially using that moniker.
The intent is to dismantle Newman Enterprises, with the work having already started.
Cane’s use of his implanted artificial intelligence weapon is diabolical. However, viewers recall that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) used the stolen, insidious computer weapon to wipe out Arabesque in short order.
Victoria Working With Her Younger Brother
Normally, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) would be with Victoria. He would have put his tie back on and reported for family business defense duty.
However, Morrow’s character is falling into the throes of what appears to be a painkiller storyline. Hopefully, he doesn’t use the illegal substances that were seen in the packet he pulled out of his jacket.
Meanwhile, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has assumed his older brother’s dependability card and is in sync with Victoria, as they try to at least lessen the impact Cane’s AI tool is having at Newman Enterprises.
Nikki Newman Wants To Maintain Katherine Chancellor’s Legacy Company
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is the rightful heir to Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) business throne.
The Grand Dame might have gone along with Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) decision to sell the company back to Victor after Billy failed with it.
However, Katherine would have never wanted Chancellor to become something that Cane used as a method of revenge. He’s going after that specific Newman division to stick it to Victor.
Offering it to Billy, with no strings attached, appears to be only partially for good intentions. Mostly, Cane is triangulating chaos in Genoa City, Wisconsin, and is using Billy’s desire to reclaim Chancellor.
Billy Abbott Risks Losing Family And Love
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has repeatedly warned Billy about freelancing. But that’s what he’s been doing by meeting with Cane.
Having Chancellor might not involve strings tied to Cane, but there would be fallout with Jack and with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). She told Billy not to be involved with Cane’s dealings.
Victoria is the mother of two of Billy’s children. There is no doubt that her wrath would be fierce if he accepts Cane’s offer, making Billy’s comment to Victoria about being over Chancellor confusing. But Thompson’s character has never been known for clarity.
Billy should inform Jack exactly what Cane has been doing because Jabot remains vulnerable to whatever AI attack Victor might launch, assuming he regains control of its computer system.
GC’s eternal gambler should also take Sally’s advice because there’s no reason to risk losing her. As for Victoria, that’s always a different consideration, no matter what Billy does.
