The Bold And The Beautiful Eric’s Retirement Revenge, Builds Rival Fashion Kingdom
The Bold And The Beautiful has Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has completely overstepped his boundaries and arranged a retirement party for Eric Forrester (John McCook).
Ridge has Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) backing him up.
However, Eric wants no part of retirement and refuses to be pushed into it. Eric is a designer and feels the need to continue to design.
Since Ridge has taken over Forrester Creations and refuses to allow Eric to work. Will Eric get the ultimate revenge and build a rival fashion kingdom and put Ridge in his place?
Ridge Forrester Blindsided Eric Forrester
Ridge discussed this retirement party with Brooke, but even Brooke didn’t stand up for Eric. Brooke has been close to Eric for years and should know that he would never be okay with this.
Ridge is trying to force Eric into retirement because he believes that is what Eric needs. Does Eric not at least deserve a say in this? After all, this is Eric’s life, not Ridge’s.
Ridge is ready to push Eric out the door whether Eric wants it, or not. Ridge claims that Eric almost died the last time he did this but that had nothing to do with Eric’s decision to continue to work.
Eric believed he was dying and was trying to outrun the clock. Eric has given Forrester his all and he should be able to keep working if he wants.
Ridge Forrester Is Overstepping
Anyone can see that Ridge believes he is doing what is best for his father. However, that does not mean that he is right.
Eric is a man who is used to working. Eric has never taken time off from work, he had never wanted to.
Ridge is not looking at what could happen if he takes away the one things Eric enjoys most. Forcing Eric to stop working could be much worse.
Ridge is wanting to take away Eric’s purpose in life. Eric could very easily die from being forced to retire just like he could from continuing to work.
Ridge needs to learn that children do not alway know what is best for their parents. Eric may be older, but it should be his decision when he stops working and retires.
Eric Forrester Teams Up With Bill Spencer
What is Eric, who is very annoyed with Ridge, partners with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) to go up against Ridge.
Bill and Katie are both fed up with Ridge and everyone else at Forrester. Will Bill and Katie become Eric’s champions and partner up with him on a new fashion house.
Perhaps Bill will keep his lead designers name out of the spotlight until time for them to face Forrester in a fashion dual.
What would Ridge and the rest of his staff say when Eric reveals himself as the winner of the fashion brawl? Will Eric finally put Ridge in his place and crush him in the fashion showdown?
