As many of our readers know, Kelly Monaco was pushed out of the show last summer. To this day, no one knows why Kelly, who was best known for her role as Sam McCall on the hit ABC soap, was fired. After all, she did spend more than two decades in Port Charles.

But if there’s anything that fans have learned about the daytime television world, it’s that you can never say never. Plus, it’s not like you are ever really dead in soaps, and even if that last nail is hammered into your coffin.

With that said, there has been some speculation on social media that suggests Kelly Monaco might come back, but as Sam McCall’s twin sister. And if that happens, there’s no doubt that fans will go wild.

Because let’s face it, Sam McCall was a legacy character and Kelly Monaco deserves a better send-off than what she got from the writers of the show. Plus, she might be dead or she might still be alive as far as we know.

Not only that, but it doesn’t look like she’s got any projects lined up for her at the moment. By now a lot of people figured that another daytime television soap would have picked her up by now, but that simply hasn’t happened.

Now, whether or not Kelly Monaco would be willing to return to her daytime television roots despite being fired from General Hospital remains to be seen. So far the actress has not made any comments about the matter.
