Of course, we are talking about King Charles and Meghan Markle as it seems like their feud has been ongoing for many years now with no end in sight. And of course, a lot of people want to know why, too.
King Charles has made it pretty clear that his olive branch has only been extended for his son, Prince Harry, and certainly not for his wife, Meghan Markle.
As much as King Charles is willing to welcome back his son with open arms, the same can’t be said about Meghan, who everyone is blaming for this ongoing royal feud to begin with.
For Meghan Markle, this could be troubling, but at this point, she really doesn’t care.
Meanwhile, King Charles always wanted to have a very close family and that’s why he tried to be close with Meghan, who married his son Prince Harry back in 2018.
But everything changed the moment Meghan’s true personality came out, which is the reason why King Charles and many other members of the royal family decided to distance themselves from the Duchess of Sussex.
One source close to the situation even put it this way, “At first Charles tried to reach out to Meghan and treated her with the same love and affection as he did Catherine. But they are very different characters.”
There was a new report that suggests King Charles wanted to invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Trooping the Colors this year, which would have been their first time back at the event in nearly five years.
What’s Next For King Charles And Meghan Markle?
But before he could even pick up the phone and give the Sussexes a call, Meghan made it pretty clear that there was no way that she was going to return to the UK, let alone stand on the balcony with the rest of the royals at Buckingham Palace.
She’s been there, done that and never wants to go back.
