Y&R Spoilers Update Monday, January 29: Jack Rescues Nikki, Nikki Fires Audra, Who’s Zooming Who?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, January 29 tease that Audra Charles’ (Zuleyka Silver) bid to connect with her boss comes back to bite her.

Audra told Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that she told Nikki how she was destroyed by an alcoholic father, after it became clear that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) was battling the bottle.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Audra’s Big Mistake

Audra took a leap of faith when she told Nikki her dad was an alcoholic and she understands what the danger signs look like. It was a bit forward of Audra, since this is her boss she’s lecturing. Later Audra feared that she spilled too much personal info and that it would backfire on her.

Now Nikki is ready to make a huge decision about Audra’s employment at NE. Nikki does not feel comfortable about Audra knowing her secret, and it appears that she fixes the drama by firing Audra. What’s that they say about no good deed going unpunished?

Y&R spoilers: Audra’s Too Chatty

Audra may try to backtrack and assure Nikki that she’s not monitoring her. But Nikki is uber sensitive right now—because she’s off the wagon and she knows people know.

The best way for her to eliminate spying eyes is to fire Audra. She already has Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) monitoring her behavior, she doesn’t need an employee doing the same.

Audra tries to save face with Nate by saying she quit, but you can’t con a con—he figures she was fired.

What’s next for shady Audra? She’s been burning bridges left and right and during the week of January 29-February 2 she may decide it’s best to crawl back to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and let him think she’s his ally again.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Audra Can’t Play Straight

For someone as savvy as Audra, she never seems to have much job security. So if she wants to get in on the Glissade deal, so may try to infiltrate and take over that way versus a blatant takeover move.

Audra and Tucker have one of soaps’ most twisted relationships and we suspect it’s not over between them even though Audra kicked him to the curb in no uncertain terms.

Y&R Spoilers: Nikki’s Temptation

Elsewhere Nikki turns to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) once again. He has soothing answers and solutions, which may include AA meetings and maybe reversing her decision to fire Audra.
