General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, July 14 tease detective theories, slammed doors and shocked reactions. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) develops a theory, Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) greeted by a slammed door, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has a shocked reaction.

General Hospital Spoilers: A Family Waits

At GH, a family waits for news outside the operating room as TJ Ashford (Tajh Ashford) and another doctor emerge with grim looks on their faces. Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) asks if Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) made it through surgery, she and the rest understandably looking worried. Curtis flatlined and a crash cart was required, although they were able to get all the bullet fragments away from his spine and his vertebrae remained intact.

He had an out of the body near death experience in which he talked to his late mother with his brother nearby working on a car. But he kept hearing TJ calling him back and telling him Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) needed him-however, he may not yet be totally out of the woods.

GH Spoilers: Detective Theories

Elsewhere, Dante develops a theory as he talks to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about the Metro Court sniper. He tells her something may not be as much of a dead end as she might think. Anna broke into the room that appeared to be the sniper’s perch, where a rifle was found behind the couch but didn’t find anything. It was Dante who theorized that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Anna were the likely targets, even though Curtis was hit by a ricochet. Sonny suspects he was the target as well, although Anna shouldn’t ignore someone spray painted the word “murderer” on her door in blood red.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sneaked Up On

Elsewhere, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) stomps out of house shouting at someone they scared the hell out of her! She’d been taking photos of Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and Cody talking and someone sneaked up and put a hand on her shoulder. That’s probably not the best thing to do to someone who’s been a private detective for years and might be carrying a gun!

Mac Scorpio (John J. York) talks to Sam and makes an admission to her, so he might be the one who sneaked up on her. If he saw Selina and Cody together, he’s liable to have lots of questions.

GH Spoilers: Coming Clean

Elsewhere, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) comes clean to someone as she admits she screwed up. It looks like Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) might have succeeded in their plot to convince her she wasn’t ready to be out from under that guardianship. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Michael and Willow Corinthos (Chad Duell, Katelyn MacMullen) noticed Sasha wasn’t acting like herself. But little does she know it’s the influence of the two drugs she’s on together that’s causing her problems.

General Hospital Spoilers: Slammed Doors

Elsewhere, Cody gets a door slammed in his face when he goes to hunt down Gladys. She’s got a flute full and working on a snoot full of champagne, and obviously has someone in her Metro Court suite with her. She slams the door in Cody’s face as she tells him he’s the last thing that they need. Cody will certainly pick up on Gladys’ reference to “we” and a little slammed door in the face won’t dissuade him.

It’s likely her buddy Damon in the suite with her, celebrating their victory over Sasha’s failure. The two medications she’s on together is what made Sasha high and forget she shoplifted clothing at Logan’s Department Store.

GH Spoilers: Shocked Reactions

Nina displays a shocked reaction to someone as she asks them if they’re ready to tell the court about this? She could be talking to Ava Jerome (Maura West) who will make an admission to someone on Monday. Nina looks incredulous as she can’t believe what she’s hearing the other person say. Usually, if someone has done something to run afoul of a court of law or law enforcement before, it’s generally not such a hot idea to admit something. Nina no doubt will try to talk the confessor out of their plans.

General Hospital Spoilers: Concerned Parents

Meanwhile, Sonny is still talking with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) who called him while he was at the hospital with Nina to come meet her. Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) is the topic of discussion as Sonny asks Alexis what kind of trouble Kristina is headed for this time. The discussion started with talking about the foundation Kristina wanted to start that Sonny was funding.

The discussion may turn to Kristina’s insistence on being TJ and Molly Lansing-Davis’ (Holiday Mia Kriegel) surrogate. Kristina is so anxious to help her sister she already has everything all planned out without them asking her!
