Phyllis got a good price from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), who bought the property as an investment for Chancellor-Winters. Viewers likely wondered why Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) would remake part of the GCAC into a jazz lounger honoring the late Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) since the company Lily and Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James) was part of held the deed to the Grand Phoenix?

Y&R’s fiftieth-anniversary celebration has included the returns of characters not seen in many years. Plus, the Athletic Club setting was brought back. That could mean the Grand Phoenix is gone forever, though it was last said to be undergoing renovations.

Kyle will face strife from his wife if he turns Phyllis in to the authorities after discovering she is at the GCAC. However, Mealor’s character stands on the moral high ground and will be helping Summer, though she will surely disagree.

Diane was never guilty of killing Phyllis but spent time in jail and had house arrest. Phyllis and the late Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), who Phyllis killed in self-defense, created a hoax good enough to lead Christine and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) on a soapy goose chase.

Phyllis is not someone who should be shielded from justice at this point in the plot. Kyle knows that and is primed to make a choice that is best for his mother.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Summer Newman Abbott Swept Up

Summer was a good young lady for many years and was condescendingly dubbed a snowflake by Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). But the character then played by Hunter King (Summer), transformed into a reckless young adult.

King’s final year-plus as Summer saw a return to responsibility. The recast to Lanier, who is delivering solid performances, continued to develop Summer’s maturity.

The incredible weight Phyllis put on her daughter was too much. Summer’s mind is overwhelmed, with Kyle seeing the need to end his wife’s burden on Y&R.
