The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, February 8 reveal that master manipulator Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is about to set a trap for Nate Dawg Hastings (Sean Dominic). And he could not have picked a better target as Nate has been putting his mitts in all kinds of places he shouldn’t. Can anyone really trust this guy? The Newman’s are about to find out.

Nate has a history of betrayal and lies. The real reason he is trying his chops in the business world is because he can’t operate anymore thanks to a hand injury that came about during a fight over his adultery. He has worked over his own family at Chancellor-Winters which is why he’s at NE. Why anyone takes a chance with this serial cheater is beyond us.

Y&R spoilers: Victoria Unlucky in Love

Sneaky Nate hired very sneaky Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) as his new COO and together they represent an unholy alliance that the Newmans would do well to be wary of. Audra is still connected to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and in ways Nate doesn’t know, hint, hint, wink, wink.

At least Victor has some intuition about Nate’s loyalty. He will devise a plan to test Nate and assess how faithful he is, but besotted Victoria will not waver in her confidence in him. And this is exactly how Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) ended up dead.

Despite his soiled rep, someone in Genoa City, Wisconsin strikes a deal with Tucker. Who is it? It might be Audra who just can’t quit him. Or it could be disaffected Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) since he and Tucker bonded over coffee and misery. If Adam and Tucker join forces, Victor will have a fight on his hands. But it could be Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) who needs someone to help her take down Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) rides to the rescue and helps pregnant Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) who has no idea who the baby daddy is. Does this mean he deflects Adam from finding out about his potential paternity? Nick steps up for Sally and it could be a preview of a monster clash to come for the brothers from different mothers.
