General Hospital Spoilers UPDATE Friday, January 20: Explosive Temper, Shocking Surprises, Truth Revealed

General Hospital spoilers for Friday, January 20 tease it’s enough for some, surprises for others, and one’s come to the end of his patience in Port Charles! Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has had enough, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) gets a surprise, and Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett) at the end of his patience.

General Hospital Spoilers: Violet Finn Learns The Truth

At Kelly’s, Violet has an innocent question that requires a complicated answer. She asks Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) if maybe they’ll get back together. Unfortunately, that would be a hard pass with all the complications that have happened especially in her aunt Elizabeth’s life, although they’ll always be connected. Sweet little Violet would never think that Liz would do sneaky things like pretend to be pregnant and have a miscarriage for a friend.

Liz and Finn will have to tell Violet that they just didn’t work out, although it won’t be like Finn and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) breakup. Sometimes people are too different to be boyfriend-girlfriend, especially when there are these kind of complications.

GH Spoilers: He’s Had Enough

At General Hospital, Austin’s had enough and he makes it clear to Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) he’s done taking orders. He’s been caught up in an illegal business where he’s been forced to do operations to remove things from supposed legitimate patients. It sounds like a drug mule business where he has to remove the goods from inside people and he’s had enough of it. Austin’s recently been reminded of what his Hippocratic oath really means and he can’t live with himself any longer – the two will soon come to blows.

General Hospital Spoilers: Cassadine Confrontation

Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) asserts his authority over Nikolas Cassadine, (Marcus Coloma) who is shocked at his actions. They’re in the living room of Wyndemere when Victor delivers a deadly sounding warning, that the last time Nikolas defies him it will be the last time. Nikolas has always done his own thing and Victor is tired of his bumbling his way through his problems.

The way that Nikolas has handled crises like Esmé Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) pregnancy with his child is not to Victor’s liking. Victor makes it clear he’s the boss and Nikolas had better obey.

GH Spoilers: Surprises

Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) surprises Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) with his announcement that he would no longer be working for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). But is he telling her a new decision or is he telling her what she wants to hear? She’s never approved of his working for Sonny, especially after rescuing him from a meat hook in the freezer at Pozzulo’s Restaurant where Sonny’s thug threatened him with knives. But didn’t he just assure Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) at GH that he’d continue to work to take Sonny down? This should be interesting.

General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Corinthos Unleashes His Anger

Still at the hospital, Michael argues with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) over her pure unmitigated gall of keeping what she knew about Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) a secret. Carly had known for months that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was Willow’s mother and claimed she was protecting Willow by not telling her, taking away Willow’s right to decide. Michael is livid as he asks his mother a very pertinent question – if Nina is the enemy, what does that make her?

Michael, like Sonny, can plainly see that it wasn’t about protecting Willow, it was about punishing Nina. Carly’s hate for Nina was stronger than her love for Willow!

GH Spoilers: The End

Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) has come to the end of his patience with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) who has been arguing with him about being retested for schizophrenia. She and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) had asked him to play a clarinet solo at their wedding, and Marshall had declined, saying he couldn’t do it. He had connected his inability to play a solo in front of a crowd to when he was first diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Portia continued to nag him about being retested since she felt he was misdiagnosed, at least for Curtis’ sake if not for his own. Marshall’s come to the end of hearing her and shouts “ENOUGH”!
