Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: Katie’s Plan Backfires – Pushes Will Straight Into Dylan’s Arms
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock) fell in love with Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) the moment she met him, but his heart belonged to another woman.
Now, months after he rescued her from living in her car, she’s closer to her goal of being his one and only.
Will telling Dylan that she is his girlfriend and also relaying that to his disapproving mother represented a threshold that was crossed.
Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) doesn’t like Dylan and believes she’s targeted her son because she’s a gold digger.
The arrival of Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan) in Los Angeles, California, isn’t something Dylan wanted.
While she’s uncomfortable with her mother’s presence in a life she was trying to establish independently, Sullivan’s character has already proven to be a sharp counter to Will’s mother.
Darcy Dylan Is Important In California
As viewers have learned, the Dylans were living in the Midwest. They were a working-class family that had goals but no realistic way of reaching them.
Dylan’s father is said to have abandoned Darcy and their daughter years ago, with soap fans projecting that character’s return sometime in the future.
However, a better option would have Dylan’s father be someone that viewers already know in Los Angeles, California.
Darcy’s protective instincts are no different than Katie’s. But the difference is that Tom’s character finds plenty of fault with Dylan, whereas Darcy is cheering her daughter on and finds Will to be a perfect match.
Katie Logan Spencer Doesn’t Realize What She’s Doing
Will is in a defiance stage of his life. That’s why his hair is long, he’s wearing earrings, riding a motorcycle, punching RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti), and quickly switching girlfriends from Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) to Dylan.
Katie’s opposition to Dylan makes Bullock’s character all the more appealing. Will is in the position where he’s had to repeatedly defend what his mother calls a rebound, which makes her more desirable.
Projecting Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) into the body of Dylan isn’t totally off-base, but it’s still wrong.
Katie weakened her argument by admitting that she sees her sister and Will’s new girlfriend as the same type of person.
Melissa Dylan Is Motivated To Succeed
Who is Katie to speak so harshly about Dylan?
The above question is one that any mother, like Darcy, would ask and also have her daughter recognize as improper. Dylan doesn’t have a history of wronging anyone in Los Angeles, California.
Only those who are team Electra would disagree vehemently. As Dylan has often said, and Will agrees with, Grace’s character broke up with him multiple times and remains steadfast that they’re not reconciling.
So, what was Will to do?
Apparently, Electra believes she has the power to control how Will reacts to her dumping him.
Electra also feels that Dylan can’t have feelings for Morrow’s character because she loved him first, which means that Bullock’s character should have never done the same. That’s not logical, and neither is Katie, which is why Will’s bond with Dylan is deepening.

I think Katie is going about to keep Will away from Dylan the wrong way because the more she goes after Dylan the more Will might feel a need to defend Dylan.Whether Katie means to or not she’s making Dylan look the victim and her the villain in Will’s eyes.So if i was Katie maybe i would back off a little and just let Will have his fun relationship with Dylan for now because eventually Will might get tired of having a fun relationship or Dylan might want something more serious down the line and that could push Will away.Plus after everything that happened with Electra and Luna, Will may just want to have enjoy life with no drama for a bit and maybe subconsciously he thinks that if Electra sees him moving on with his life without her it might make her jealous and get her to decide that she wants him back.
