Melania Trump Accused Of Being Inappropriate For This Reason
But apparently, they’ve got a good reason for it, too. According to She Finds, the First Lady of the United States has been raising a lot of eyebrows for what she wore at a recent state dinner.
That’s because it looked like a revealing strapless gown and for some critics, they just believe that Melania could have either covered up or worn something that was a little less revealing.
Just to recall, the First Lady wore a blush-colored gown during the official state dinner with King Charles and Queen Camilla back in April.
And while there’s no doubt that a lot of people would agree that Melania looked absolutely beautiful, some believe that the off-the-shoulder look wasn’t appropriate for someone with her title to wear.
But then again, this is all just opinions, right? That said, Melania has also been criticized for another detail about her wardrobe.
Just recently, Melania said that American fashion can lead the world. She made the comments at the Smithsonian about the power of American style.
However, a lot of her critics pointed out that while she was making these comments, she was dressed head to toe in European designs.
Talk about hypocrisy, right? The First Lady was dressed in a Bottega Veneta coat and had on Christian Louboutin shoes.
What’s Next For Melania Trump?
But then again, this isn’t the first time that Melania has dressed in clothes that felt like a slap in the face to American designers.
While Michelle Obama was someone who has always dressed in American labels, Melania has done the opposite.
So far Melania Trump herself has not made any comments about the criticism she’s received.
