General Hospital Spoilers: Willow’s Stunning Confession – Will Nina Keep Her Secret?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) will make a stunning confession to her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) this week on the ABC soap.
The big question is, will Nina keep Willow’s secret, or will it be so shocking that she can’t?
Willow Tells Nina That Drew Didn’t Have A Stroke
In the weekly promo that dropped on Monday, April 13, Nina turns around in shock and asks “What?” in response to Willow’s admission that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) didn’t have a stroke.
Drew can also be seen sitting in his wheelchair in his drug-induced silence, caused by a drug that mimics locked-in syndrome; Willow got it from Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Obviously, this is a huge confession, considering Willow only just recently started even trusting her mother in small ways again, for her to be her confidant to this level is interesting.
Just last week, Willow panicked when Nina told her Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) was blackmailing her with a traffic cam video showing her near Drew’s house the night he was shot.
Nina told her about the blackmail where she was to get Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) to tell her Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) location or he’d restore the video to the PCPD.
Is Willow’s Confession Forced?
Another question about why Willow makes such an astounding confession is whether it may have been forced, though in Monday, April 13th’s episode, Willow sinks to a new low. Considering that in the same promo, Nina unexpectedly comes upon Valentin, perhaps he’s the one blackmailing both of them, hiding somewhere, and seeing and hearing Willow with Drew.
That situation could certainly force a confession to Nina, about Drew’s “locked-in syndrome” being drug-related, with Willow doing the drugging! But let’s also consider the possibility that Willow’s confession is spurred by another scenario, and Nina herself sees and hears her with Drew, talking about the shot and keeping him quiet!
Will Nina Keep Willow’s Secret After She Confesses To Her?
Also in a recent episode, there was a scene of Nina talking to Drew while he was alone in a room, and she seemed to have some sympathy for him, also mentioning his blinking.
She was telling her ex-lover that although he had done some terrible things, she never would have wished this on him prior to Willow coming in the room
. She then told Willow she needed to talk to her alone-then Willow moved Drew to his bedroom and she revealed the blackmail.
Might Nina’s compassion for Drew in spite of all the terrible things he did, tempt her to not keep Willow’s secret when she confesses? Or will she keep her secret, but give her a guilt-trip filled scolding, a slap on the wrist “shame on you?”
