General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie Investigates Nathan Imposter, Fights to Save Lulu with Scary Results?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Cassius Faison aka fake Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) may be wrong about fooling Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Cassius feels like Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) poison plot was the best thing that could’ve happened since Maxie was in a coma while everyone else was accepting him as Nathan.
Once Maxie finally awakened, it wasn’t that hard for her to accept that Nathan was back, too. After all, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and everybody else in Port Charles believed the “evidence.”
However, Maxie admitted to Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) that something felt off when she interacted with “Nathan” in the cemetery.
Although Maxie decided it must’ve been because of “Nathan’s” interest in Lulu, she may rethink that eventually.
Maxie hasn’t been around “Nathan” all that much, but that could change as they co-parent James West (Gary James Fuller). James knows Maxie and “Nathan” aren’t going to be a couple, but he could still push for some family bonding time.
Of course, Maxie is also trying to get on board with “Nathan” and Lulu being a thing now. Maybe that could lead to some awkward double dates or dinner parties involving Maxie, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Lulu and “Nathan.”
Whatever the case, GH spoilers suggest Maxie may change her tune about “Nathan” if she starts spending more time around him. It could lead to Maxie getting an eerie feeling that something just isn’t right.
Maxie knew Nathan better than just about anyone, so she could trip Cassius up with some old stories that he can’t remember. It’d be a good opportunity for Maxie to put “Nathan” to the test and ultimately doubt he’s the real deal.
Maxie could dig into some imposter clues if she notices some along the way. This could lead to Maxie’s private investigation and her efforts to save Lulu depending on what she uncovers.
What happens if Maxie figures out “Nathan” isn’t who he claims to be? Maxie might even eavesdrop on the shocking news that “Nathan” is actually his twin brother.
One way or another, Maxie may determine that Nathan is still deceased. If Maxie tries to expose Cassius and get Lulu away from him, she could land in grave danger.
That’s especially true since Cassius clearly doesn’t care about Maxie and was practically celebrating the fact that she was comatose after getting poisoned!
If Maxie learns too much, Cassius might alert Sidwell and cause a scary crisis. Sidwell might make sure Maxie has a coma relapse or even try to end her life permanently.
