General Hospital Spoilers: Is Alexis Legally Obligated to Report Kai and Trina’s Ringtone Bombshell?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Alexis Davis could have a dilemma on her hands if Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) spill what they know about a certain ringtone they think they heard on the night of Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting.
Then again, when has the law ever gotten in Alexis’ way? Here are three possible outcomes that could transpire after the couple heard the Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star ringtone coming from Willow’s phone.
1) Alexis Could Ignore Tai
First off, does Alexis have a legal obligation to turn over Tai’s allegation if they come to her with it? That is a mute point because she has a history of approaching life on her own terms. And that includes plenty of illegal activity, like holding her ex-husband hostage in her basement.
Can Alexis be counted on to do the right thing? Hell nah.
Remember, Kai and Trina have an idea, they don’t have evidence. Ring tones are not exclusive to one person and as such their discovery is not evidence of guilt. In other words, their finding is compelling but at the end of the day it’s no smoking gun.
Plus, in Alexis’ defense, it’s up to Kai and Trina to report it to the proper authorities.
2) Alexis Could Intimidate Tai
Then again, Alexis could get sneaky and try to trick Kai and Trina into shutting their mouths. She might dissuade them by saying there is no guarantee of the jury hearing their allegation or intimidate them by pointing out that they are guilty of breaking and entering and stealing documents from Drew’s safe.
Alexis could also try to sway them by pointing out that since Trina and her family hate Drew, her claim won’t be believed. Would Alexis stoop that low? You bet she would.
3) Willow’s Flashback is Not Accurate
Finally, who’s to say that Willow actually shot Drew? Aside from the ringtone, which is flimsy evidence at best, Willow is not particularly sane right now.
She stalked a child and had a breakdown in court. Sure, the soap showed her having a flashback to shooting Drew, but that means nothing in a genre where people come back from the dead, no questions asked.
In other words, Willow could have daydreamed the whole flashback!
