Meghan Markle recently joined her college pal Courtney Adamo to celebrate the launch of her book ‘The Family Home: Inspiring Ideas for a Home Filled with Joy.’
The event took place at Godmother’s Bookstore in nearby Summerland, where she joined her friend on stage to share some tidbits on what home life is like for her, Prince Harry and their two young children.
The problem is: fans think she hogged the microphone all the way through and barely allowed Adamo some speaking time.

As I’ve already mentioned, to keep with the theme of the event ‘The Family Home: Inspiring Ideas for a Home Filled with Joy,’ Meghan opted to share details about her home life in Montecito.
She talked about starting the day off with music, traveling with candles, and generally providing her kids with “healing blankets” whenever they’re sick.
“So Meghan’s friend Courtney, was apparently promoting HER book at the Godmothers bookstore, that she co wrote with her husband. Did anyone tell Meghan?” a fan wrote on X.
“Also, Meghan the feminist, who has told the World (countless times), of her heroic tale of how she fought against an evil sexist advert, about a woman being in the kitchen washing up, tells the crowd, that when she welcomes people to her home and wants them to be comfortable, she opens the door wearing an apron and has nice smelling things on the stove,” the fan jeered, adding, “Does she fetch her husbands slippers at the same time? Pick a lane.”
Meghan Markle Stole the Spotlight On Courtney Adamo’s Special Night
Apart from being called out for the “insufferable” things she said during the event, fans also blasted her for swooping in and stealing Courtney’s spotlight.
A prominent royalist account shared on X, “Meghan Markle publicly humiliated a friend whom she claimed she had gone to the bookstore to support.
Her friend had just written a book with her husband, and the night was supposed to be about Courtney. Meghan Markle claims to be a feminist, but her actions tell a different story.”
Further calling out Meghan’s “actions,” the fan added, “She appears unable to let any woman shine and often takes pleasure in belittling those around her. The photo shows her friend cowering and trying to control her emotions!”
