General Hospital Spoilers: Spinelli’s Plea to Jason Could Spell the End of the New Nathan

General Hospital Spoilers: Spinelli's Plea to Jason Could Spell the End of the New Nathan

General Hospital spoilers reveal Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) is feeling particularly vulnerable about the state of his life with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and James West (Gary James Fuller) and how he’ll navigate the rough waters ahead with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) back in the picture.

Spinelli sat down with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) this week to air his feelings and ask for help, but instead of stepping in, Jason advised him to pull Nathan into their life.

Will he come to regret that? As the questions around Nathan’s resurrection continue to pile up, at least two women in Jason’s life are going to keep his Spidey senses tingling about this guy. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) seems to be teetering on the edge of telling Jason the truth about her time in Croatia, and if she does, they may get close enough to talk about why she doesn’t seem to trust her brother.

Furthermore, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has concerns she can’t explain about where Nathan has been. While both of them seem to be coming from different perspectives, neither has the answers they need, and we can just about guess who will end up hell bent on finding them.

Britt Casts Doubt

Jason was the only person who had the nerve to grill Britt about why she didn’t want Nathan to meet his son.

He may have asked that question and pretended to let it go when she gave him a fictitious answer, but we know better. Jason is slowly piecing together all of Britt’s odd behavior while giving her the time and space she needs to feel comfortable trusting him again.

Letting him co-sign a loan for her is a sign of that trust, but they’re not there yet. When they are, we expect she might tell him what kind of trouble she’s really in, and whether she thinks this “Nathan” is really her brother or not.

GH Spoilers Gossip Anna’s Anxiety Peaks

When Nathan came to Anna asking for his badge back, she was surprised to find that he was so eager to get back to work versus dig deeper into his personal life.

Doesn’t he have seven years of life to make up for? Still, Anna is trying to wrap her head around the idea that two of Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) kids just came back from the alleged dead, while not losing her grip on the reality that he too was pronounced dead.

As she vacillates between her worst fears and reality, we expect it’ll be Jason who decides to champion the cause and get to the bottom of where Nathan has been.

Will Spinelli Stay on the Sidelines?

Jason just told his dear friend to open his heart and family to this man. That gives Spinelli a sense of peace, and it imparts some control where he gets to dictate how quickly Nathan integrates back into the family and in what ways while also showing him that there is already a family in existence here.

But if Jason starts to suspect that something is amiss with Nathan, will he clue his friend in and renege on that advice, or keep him in the dark for fear he won’t be able to compartmentalize? Spinelli might appreciate being looped in and even helping Jason chase down clues, but can he keep his composure while a potential imposter is in his family’s midst? Keep checking back with us every day for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plays out.
