The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane’s Fury Unleashed, Who is the Killer Holding Cane’s Knife?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, July 4 reveal that a whodunit kicks off while your favorite GC characters are squirreled away on Fantasy Island, aka Nice, France. A promo video shows someone holding a knife with gloves on, obscuring the fact if this is a man or a woman with evil intent.
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) made it a point to tell Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) that someone wants him dead, but at this point it’s hard to know what’s fact or fiction with the duper.
Cane Insists He’s a Target
In the vid, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is in the maze looking unsure, while Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) talks to Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) who also look ill at ease.
The juiciest part of the clip shows a gloved hand holding a knife, and we assume it’s the same one that has Damian Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) fingerprints all over it.
The video announcer says “The Young and the Restless saga continues when ambition turns fatal” more than confirming that someone dies in Nice.
Is there a confrontation between Cane and Damian? Definitely maybe!
Cane Has a No Good Very Bad Day
We predict that Damian becomes a suspect in whatever goes down, thanks to him handling the knife, in front of Lily no less.
We know that the bad person wears gloves meaning they will not leave fingerprints behind! The video sneak peek dropped a couple of other interesting tidbits having to do with Jack looking stunned while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) looks on.
We also see an agitated Cane hit a table with his fist—boy, did his Nice adventure go off the train tracks fast (pun intended).
Cane’s Grand Adventure Turns South
So, is Cane setting someone up to take the fall by claiming to fear for his life? Clearly he is a changed man, as Chelsea told Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) on the July 2 episode.
