Prince Harry Brought Family Estrangement On Himself With His Media Campaign

Prince Harry Brought Family Estrangement On Himself With His Media Campaign

Yeah, we’re still on the topic of Prince Harry and his early this May admission that he does want to be closer to his family.

It seems that for a lot of people, this desire to be close, or at least closer than he currently is, with his family is comical, laughable even.

How do I say this? It’s like pretending ‘Spare,’ ‘Harry & Meghan,’ the bombshell Oprah tell-all and ensuing interviews and podcast appearances did not happen.

What happened to William being the Lord of the manor and he the humble organs brought into this world to be donated? What happened to King Charles and his generational pain? What happened to feeling sorry to the people trapped within the monarchy?

You see the thing is, I don’t think he’s forgotten about these things. And if you ask me, reconciliation – in the absolute truthfulness of the word – isn’t exactly what he desires. But that’s just me. Let’s see what conflict expert Julie Cobalt has to say about it.

Why Prince Harry’s Olive Branch Offer To Royal Family Does Not Work

It’s 2025, and Prince Harry wants, and I quote, wants “reconciliation” with his family.

“There have been so many disagreements between myself and some of my family,” the father of two said during his latest BBC interview, before adding that he has now “forgiven” them.

He continued: “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point continuing to fight any more, life is precious.”

Well, reconciliation ay? Julie Cobalt does not believe that he’s going about it the right way if indeed it is what he wants. “If your goal is healing, involving the public complicates the path.”

She continued, “You also risk misinterpretation. Photos, headlines, or quotes taken out of context can inflame things further.”

Julie went on to note, “Publicly criticising your family, especially in a memoir, virtually guarantees defensiveness and further distance. It also strips you of control over how your message is received.”

If Harry does want to make progress with his reconciliation plans, Cobalt suggests that he “work with a conflict coach or mediator. Reconnection requires honest conversation, not public narration.”

She added: “If you want resolution, you have to be willing to trade the spotlight for sincerity.”

In other equally interesting news, an insider is revealing that Harry and Meghan are at serious loggerheads over how they should proceed with reconciling with the Royal Family.

“Harry had hopes of being closer to his family as it’s important to him to try to build bridges. But Meghan is quite firm on not wanting to return to the UK, which has caused them to butt heads,” the source spilled, adding, “if it continues, forget the High Court and security disputes – this could end up in the divorce courts.”
