What Janelle Brown Has Said About Reconciling With Kody Brown

What Janelle Brown Has Said About Reconciling With Kody BrownFor many years, Kody Brown enjoyed the status of one husband, four wives, but all that was about to change nearly in the blink of an eye.

It started with Christine – who is now happily married to David Woolley – and spread to Meri, before Janelle followed suit.

Even the acknowledged favorite wife Robyn Brown once moaned that she feels like the “fool” that got left behind, so you can easily guess that Kody’s marital life is far from what it used to be.

But is Janelle now regretting her decision to join her fellow Sister Wives to jump ship? Keep reading to find out.

Janelle Brown Questions Her Kody Brown Split

Can we take a trip down memory lane real quick? Okay. Janelle Brown married Kody Brown in 1993 as the second wife after Meri, and they share six children together.

Prior to joining the marriage as a spiritual wife, she had been married to one Adam Barber, who, and I know this might shock you to learn, was Meri Brown’s brother. So at one point, before becoming her sister wife, they were sisters-in-law.

Funny how fate works, huh?

Christine would join a few years on, and Robyn – now widely considered as Kody Brown’s favorite wife – would legally join in 2014 after Kody managed to get Meri to divorce him on paper.

The family would go through a lot, but the pandemic was like a climax that made the women decide to choose themselves – or at least their children – over that thing they called marriage with Kody. (Fans had been advising Meri to leave Kody long before Christine set the trend by jumping ship).

During her recent conversation with Meri on the TLC show, Janelle revealed the reason she hasn’t sought to get a spiritual release from Kody: “I’m not dating, but if I found somebody, I would never want there to be like a weird barrier in my head.

What Janelle Brown Has Said About Reconciling With Kody Brown

I’ve been married for 30 years and it had validity for me. I don’t have to live plural marriage again. I don’t know if I’ll ever even marry again. But I’ve kept my faith. All of it’s intact except for that whole plural marriage thing. I don’t know about that.”

However, that doesn’t mean that Janelle wouldn’t cut all Kody ties if she ever has a strong motivation to.

“So just so that I’m sure I’m good, if I were to remarry, maybe it’s worth getting a spiritual divorce?” she added.

Meri then offered to accompany Janelle to get the release whenever she feels she’s ready for it.
