General Hospital Spoilers: Welcome Home, Fishing Expeditions, Mother’s Guilt
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Tuesday, April 15 tease a welcome home, fishing expeditions, and a mother’s guilt.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is welcomed home, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) conducts a fishing expedition, and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) struggles with her guilt.
Welcome Home
Elizabeth has finally been discharged from the hospital, and as Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) wheels her into the house, they are greeted by an enthusiastic welcoming party.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) cheerfully exclaim, “Welcome Home!” both Lucky and Elizabeth appear pleasantly surprised by the warm reception.
However, Elizabeth faces a lengthy rehabilitation process as she recovers from her broken leg, which will require her to relearn how to walk—especially since the bedrooms are located upstairs.
Navigating stairs is definitely not part of her recovery plan, so she might be settling on the couch for a while. Although Aiden Spencer (Colin Cassidy) isn’t visible in this scene, he’s likely nearby—will her other two sons come to visit her as well?
Hurtful Heart-To-Heart?
Tomorrow, viewers can expect an emotional exchange between Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine Chase (Amanda Setton), as well as Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer). Brook Lynn appears distressed and bewildered as she questions, “Are you turning me down?” This could relate to a plan she’s attempting to put into action.
She might be asking Chase to help her locate her child, or perhaps she’s exploring alternative options to provide him with one, given his sterility. It looks like intense and heartfelt moments are on the horizon for Brook Lynn, Chase, and Lois!
Kai Wants Trina’s Blessing On His Surgery And Her Support
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) had a conversation with her mother, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), regarding the surgery that Kai is eager to undergo, which Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is willing to fund.
Due to HIPPAA regulations, Portia was limited in what she could share, but she did express her concerns to Kai, advising against the procedure since there had been at least one case of paralysis and one fatality.
Despite the risks, Kai is determined to pursue this experimental surgery, believing it to be his last chance to fulfill his football aspirations.
He expresses to a worried Trina how much it would mean to him to have her support during this time. While he feels he must take this risk to avoid future regret, Trina fears that if things go awry, the consequences could be far worse, especially if he doesn’t make it through.
Price Increase
Ava Jerome (Maura West) is raising her stakes and her prices—though it seems she might be in her art gallery, as suggested by the painting hanging behind her.
She expresses concern to someone that her prices have increased, which could imply she’s talking about a piece of art rather than her blackmail scheme! Ava had been blackmailing Alexis with a video showing Kristina tampering with Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) car brakes, mistakenly believing it was Ava’s.
Her goal was to reclaim the Cassadine wealth she received in her divorce from Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss), but Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) thwarted her plans! It was Valentin who secured the properties and funds from the trust, placing them beyond Ava’s reach!
A Visit With Dad
Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) stops by her father’s room at General Hospital, as Ric is still on the mend and not ready for discharge.
She expresses a hope that something positive could emerge from this situation, likely alluding to his recent accident. Could she be hinting that she and Kristina have finally reconciled, something he might have had an inkling about?
He had previously mentioned to Ava that he wished for Molly to remain unaware of Kristina’s involvement in his accident—even though Kristina’s intention was never to harm him, but rather Ava! Unbeknownst to her, it wasn’t Ava’s vehicle parked in her designated spot at the garage!
Fishing Expeditions
Kristina seems to be at GH, where she unexpectedly encounters her brother, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). She inquires about the reason a detective is looking into a car accident, which, of course, she was responsible for.
The detective in question is none other than Dante, of course! Kristina is aware that Lucky is keeping their secret safe; he had visited the impound and learned that the car had been destroyed, ensuring her safety.
However, what he doesn’t know—and what only Ava and Ric are aware of—is that Ava bribed someone to provide that information. If the car is ever needed for any reason, she’ll instruct him to retrieve it!
Mother’s Guilt
Meanwhile, Alexis finds herself in her law office alongside Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), grappling with her anxieties. She is also burdened by guilt, as she is reluctant to separate her two surviving daughters after they have just reconciled. Diane has warned that if Ava submits that video to the police, Kristina could face serious legal repercussions.
The only way to safeguard her is through a judicial commitment, meaning Kristina would be admitted to a psychiatric facility for treatment and could successfully argue temporary insanity in court. Now, Diane insists that this is the only option to protect Kristina’s life!
