General Hospital Spoilers: Truth Telling, Unwelcome News, Personal Confessions
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, April 9 tease truth telling, unwelcome news, and personal confessions.
Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) appears to be considering some truth telling, while Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has unwelcome news, and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) a personal confession.
Truth Telling
In the Quartermaine mansion, a heartfelt conversation unfolds between mother and daughter as Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Brook Lynn seek to reconcile.
Noticing Brook Lynn’s sorrowful expression, Lois suggests that it seems like Brook Lynn is leaning towards revealing the truth. After a deep discussion with her husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he advised her that if she intends to keep this secret, she must find a way to alleviate her pain.
It’s evident to those around her that something deeply troubling is weighing on her, and it’s only a matter of time before the truth comes to light.
Has Brook Lynn reached the realization that she must confess to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about their adult child?
Unwelcome News
Curtis is sharing a lunch with Mayor Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) when he drops some troubling news that leaves her visibly concerned.
This likely relates to the ongoing complications involving Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), and the rejected plans for the Esplanade.
They had intentions to develop Pier 55, the current site of Corinthos Coffee—perhaps Councilman Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) is also involved in this mess! Together, Boyle and Drew have been creating significant challenges for Laura and the city of Port Charles. It seems like Laura is constantly facing one issue after another!
Confrontation Conundrums
At the Quartermaine stables, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) finds herself in a tense discussion with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), who is challenging her. After Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) departed, Cody approached Lulu, having overheard their argument, and claimed he can spot a con artist from a mile away. Lulu questions whether she should express her true feelings, clearly alluding to Dante.
While honesty is often the best approach, it can be complicated when the conversation has been built on deceit or half-truths. This leads to a need for extensive explanations and the challenge of rebuilding trust.
Jordan Brings Isaiah In The Loop
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) brings Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) up to speed with the latest developments. She asks him, “Can you guess who wanted to meet with me?” It’s probably Sidwell, and Isaiah is definitely not on board with that!
However, Jordan reassured Isaiah that she’s capable of handling herself—before becoming deputy mayor, she worked as a DEA agent and later served as a police commissioner! Despite her confidence, Isaiah can’t shake his concerns about Sidwell, especially given what he knows from their time in Africa. Jordan might want to consider carrying a firearm just to be safe!
Unwelcome Visitor
Meanwhile, in Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) law office, Ava Jerome (Maura West) made an unexpected entrance—one might even say she barged in! Despite Alexis asking her to leave, Ava stood her ground, claiming she possessed crucial information that could impact Kristina’s future.
In reality, she’s there to blackmail Alexis with what she knows, revealing that Kristina attempted to harm her and that she has proof!
It’s likely she has the security footage saved on her phone, which will leave Alexis with no doubt. Although Alexis appears doubtful now, seeing that evidence will undoubtedly catch her off guard!
Personal Confessions
Meanwhile, Kristina is having a moment with her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and she reveals that she has something to confess—though it will remain between them! She’s likely to urge her father to listen, but what will this confession entail?
Could it be about her accidentally cutting the brake lines on Ric Lansing’s (Rick Hearst) car instead of Ava’s? Or might she share her desire for Sonny to proceed with his heart surgery? It seems unlikely that she would admit to her wrongdoing, as it could add significant stress to her father.
