General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Can’t Detach Herself From Sonny
Of course, we are talking about Major Laura Collins. She certainly has our vote. That’s because she’s been working on a project that will bring jobs to this fictional town of Port Charles. Not only that, but she also wants to increase tax revenue for the city.
A lot of fans have said that they love the fact that Major Collins is getting more screen time in her office while she’s trying to make the city a better place for her residents. The only problem though, according to many fans, is that she continues to have strong ties with Sonny Corinthos.
Of course, General Hospital fans have had a lot to say about this storyline on social media. Some have even commented with, “If she could detach herself from Sonny, professionally, she’d be almost a perfect Mayor.”
“But she’s a typical mayor looking out for her best interests and her biggest donors. I love Laura, but not as mayor. OTOH she makes a better mayor than a member of Congress – Drewfus.”
Another critic wrote, “She uses her office for her family’s benefit. She’s the mayor a lot of us already have.”

But let’s be honest, Laura really cares about the city and she seems to have a much better grasp on what’s happening on the waterfront than Laura. She has my vote too.”

As for Laura being Mayor, I’m wondering when or if it will ever be revealed how a young Spencer fixed the votes years ago. Guess writers have hid this fact under rug along with many other unanswered story lines.
