General Hospital Spoilers: The Writers Have Made This Huge Mistake With Drew
General Hospital news says that some eagle-eye fans have once again noticed that the writers have been making some huge mistakes on the show. But this time around, it has to do with Drew. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
General Hospital Spoilers: The Writers Have Made This Huge Mistake With Drew
Some fans have pointed out that they’ve made a huge mistake with Drew, because in reality members of Congress are elected every four years instead of two.
However, Drew and Nina had a conversation where they talked about how he wouldn’t have to face the voters again for another four years.
If that weren’t enough, they’ve never had to go to DC again after their inauguration. It’s also been noted that freshman members have an incredible amount of power and they spend their time micromanaging one city. So, what gives?
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some critics even commented with, “I don’t understand why they chose to have him run for the US Congress over the NY State Senate or Assembly.”
“It would’ve made more sense having him staying in PC and traveling to Albany for meetings/votes. Plus, on a local level, he would’ve had the power that he claims to have being a junior congressman.”
Another critic wrote, “The inaccuracies around Drew being a congressman are so infuriating because the inaccuracies aren’t being fudged to make for meaningful drama. Like when they said Drew could use eminent domain for the esplanade project I had to check out.”
And then there was this comment as well: “If they wanted Drew to be a politician and still around Port Charles or actively involved in its governance, he could have been a city council member or in the State Assembly.”

“The state legislatures are not in session as often and most state level politicians still maintain full-time jobs and businesses, with their state office being like a side hustle.”
So far the GH writers have not made any comments about the criticism they’ve received.
It goes without saying that General Hospital fans will certainly have to tune in each and every day to find out what will happen next.
