Is Donald Trump Going To Fire Pete Hegeseth?
Of course, we are talking about Pete Hegseth as there’s heavy speculation that Donald Trump might be regretting picking the Fox News host for his choice as his defense secretary. That’s becasue there are several reports that suggest he might have a drinking problem behind the scenes.
Per one new report about ten current and former Fox employees say that Pete Hegseth, Trump’s pick for defense secretary, drank in ways that concerned his co-workers.
It’s been said that a lot of Pete’s co-workers could smell alcohol on him right before he went live on air. Three employees even added that his supposed drinking problem was still an issue up until Trump announced him as his choice to run the Pentagon.
A Trump transition team spokesperson called the claims “completely unfounded and false.”
It goes without saying that the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter. Some even commented with, “Wild how places like NBC will rush to run these un named sourced stories but didn’t touch the stories claiming Doug was a domestic abuser.”
What’s Next For Pete Hegseth?
“But no names….as usual. These baseless smears are getting old. What’s the next one going to be? The first one has already failed.”
Another critic wrote, “Zoomer employees presumably don’t know what cologne smells like, if there’s video of him acting drunk on air that’s one thing but this is just a poorly considered hit piece as presented by NBC.”
And then there was this comment as well: “So drinking at the work party is unacceptable? Let’s rake through their history. I have actually seen Pete on camera not sounding or looking drunk. Cannot say the same about Kamala or Pelosi.”
So far Pete Hegseth himself has not made any comments about the matter just yet. But whether or not Donald Trump is going to do something about it remains to be seen.
