According to the latest reports, Ellen DeGeneres has moved to Great Britain and says she is “never coming back” to the United States after Trump’s election win.
DeGeneres’ Montecito mansion “has been pocket-listed or will be listed soon.”
“Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi have moved to rural England, put their Montecito estate on the market and plan to never return to the United States, telling friends the election of Donald Trump was their primary motivation,” reported The Wrap.
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.

Some fans and critics from both sides of the pond commented with, “Good. We’re getting rid of the bad apples so easily. They will fit perfectly in the UK. lol. She has skeletons in her closet. That’s the only reason she would be so afraid.”
Another critic wrote, “Is she trying to avoid prosecution from the Diddy list? I thought she said she didn’t care about Hollywood anymore. It must have upset her.”
“She’s moving to Britain where progressives rule and freedom of speech is all but gone, and she might have to get back into the closet due to certain immigrants who have been known to throw gay people off of tall buildings.”
And then there was this comment as well: “I’m really enjoying watching these Hollywood celebrities show their true colors. Hope Ellen DeGeneres enjoys the censorship she’s in for in Great Britain. At least she is one of the celebs that actually left rather than just saying it and then not following through.”
“Also, she was terminated from her show after a dozen employees said she was toxic and mean. I doubt she’s leaving becuz of Trump.”
