There’s a new report that says the Prince and Princess of Wales managed to grab the spotlight from none other than Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they released their cancer video only moments before the Sussexes released their new Netflix trailer for their docuseries about the sport of polo.
In their cancer video, Kate Middleton announced that she was done with her chemotherapy treatments and that she was looking forward to working again in the future.
Piers Morgan, who often has something or another to say about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on almost a daily basis, weighed in on the matter in his column for The Sun.
He said, “At 4.29pm on Monday afternoon, the Prince and Princess of Wales released a stunningly powerful three-minute filmabout Kate’s ongoing battle with cancer.”
“And at 6.09pm, Netflix released a promo for a new documentary series about Polomade by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
“Of course, it may just have been a stupendous coincidence but if you believe that, then then I’ve got some very dodgy old Ford Cortinas to sell you.”
What’s Next For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?
Morgan continued, “Regardless of whether Meghan and Harry deliberately rushed out their promo to try to spoil Kate and William’s big announcement, or just to capitalise on the megaton-sized global attention it instantly received, it landed like a plop of unwanted pigeon poop on a pavement.”
“All Tuesday’s newspaper front pages, from England and Australia to America and India, were dominated by images from the Wales’s film, with barely a cursory side mention to the Sussex’s bejewelled-horse-and-mallet grift.”
So far both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the matter just yet. Watch this space.
