General Hospital Spoilers Monday, August 5: Angry Accusations, Difficult Questions, Making Excuses!

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, August 5 tease angry accusations, difficult questions, and making excuses! TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) makes angry accusations, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) must answer difficult questions and Ava Jerome (Maura West) continues to make excuses!

General Hospital Spoilers: Molly Lansing-Davis Has Questions

At GH, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) appears to be in the dark as she inquires of a nurse, “What’s she doing?” TJ had postponed reaching out to Molly, who was at court, to inform her that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) had been rushed to the ER in a state of hypovolemic shock. Kristina’s condition is critical, as is that of her baby, due to significant blood loss and a placental abruption, necessitating an emergency C-section to save both their lives.

Now that Molly is aware, her question likely pertains to the doctor’s efforts to rescue her sister and the baby. Meanwhile, TJ is not by Molly’s side; instead, he’s venting to his mother and shifting blame aggressively; as for Molly, she’s  going to confront Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) with some tough words!

GH Spoilers: Angry Accusations

In a different section of the hospital, TJ is venting to his mother Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and exclaiming, “She’s to blame for whatever happened!” Hopefully, he’s talking about Ava and not Kristina, but there’s a chance he misunderstood something he overheard.

They’re probably aware that Ava has been taken into custody and is being interrogated about Kristina’s situation, with Ava saying that it’s all Kristina’s fault. This information shouldn’t be leaking out of the PCPD and reaching TJ’s ears for him to echo.

General Hospital Spoilers: Natalia Ramirez Offers An Ear To Her Daughter

Alison Rogers, known as Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), has some pressing questions for her mother, Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue). She wonders if any part of Natalia still holds onto her previous beliefs, particularly regarding her anti-LGBTQ views, especially after the traumatic incident involving Blaze’s partner, Kristina.

Natalia was just as taken aback and horrified as everyone else when she discovered that it was Kristina who had fallen through the window into the pool, especially considering Kristina’s advanced pregnancy.

In an effort to be a more supportive mother, Natalia decides to let Blaze express her feelings and frustrations, ready to listen. They find themselves in the hospital, anxiously waiting while Kristina undergoes an emergency c-section, with concerns that there may be additional internal injuries that need attention.

GH Spoilers: Josslyn Jacks Cries To Dex Heller

Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) finds herself in tears as she confides in Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) about the harrowing experience of rescuing Kristina from the pool. She expresses, “and that second could have made all the difference,” a sentiment that resonates deeply.

The moment Kristina fell into the water was terrifying, not just for Josslyn but also for Trina, who stood by, likely afraid that it might have been a suicide attempt.

It was only when Josslyn, on lifeguard duty, leaped into the pool and turned Kristina over that she recognized her, later identifying her as her sister to the EMTs. Dex offers words of comfort, assuring Josslyn that her quick actions were crucial in saving Kristina and, hopefully, the baby too.

General Hospital Spoilers: Difficult Questions

Trina finds herself in a tense moment at the PCPD, fielding questions from Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) about her observations following Kristina’s fall. However, the real struggle lies within Trina as she grapples with her own doubts; she has opened up to Josslyn about her uncertainty regarding her connection to Ava. Trina caught a glimpse of Ava staring out of the shattered window from which Kristina fell and later witnessed her drawing the curtains shut.

General Hospital Spoilers Monday, August 5: Angry Accusations, Difficult Questions, Making Excuses!

The conflict between her need to reveal the truth and the possibility of sending her mentor behind bars weighs heavily on her. Ultimately, Trina must navigate this challenging crossroads, reinforcing her loyalty, which proves to be an incredibly difficult choice.

GH Spoilers: Making Excuses!

Inside the questioning room at PCPD, Ava plays the role of the innocent witness, which she actually is—while Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) interrogates her. She claims that what happened to Kristina was nothing more than a dreadful accident, but neither he nor Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is convinced.

Ava’s continuous lies surrounding the incident only serve to paint her as guilty, creating a narrative that she intentionally pushed Kristina through the window.

Honesty would have served her better; she carefully arranged the scene to imply that Kristina had lunged at her and stumbled over a pair of heels by the window. However, the truth reveals that Ava had seized Kristina, who then lost her footing over John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam J. Harrington) gym bag, leading to her tragic plunge through the window.

General Hospital Spoilers:  Sonny’s Revenge Talk As Dante Reveals His Suspicions

Meanwhile, Dante sits by his father’s side in the hospital, anxiously awaiting news on Kristina’s condition after surgery. As they wait, Dante shares his doubts about the true cause of the incident with Sonny. Sonny, fueled by anger, vows that those responsible will face consequences – likely referring to Ava and Jagger.

Although Sonny’s anger is justified, Dante encourages him to find a more constructive outlet for those feelings. There’s a right way and a wrong way to get justice, and revenge is never the right way!
